About The Game
Originally released by T&E SOFT in 1988, this classic shoot 'em up is the grand finale of the trilogy, following in the footsteps of LAYDOCK and Super LAYDOCK. As the pilot of the Stormy Gunner 2, you must fight your way through a variety of treacherous stages, including icy worlds, planets of fire, and mysterious extra-dimensional spaces. While the core gameplay is a pure shooter, it also incorporates RPG-style progression; as you level up, you can unlock and equip up to 10 different types of optional weaponry. Furthermore, in two-player mode, players can accumulate "docking energy" to perform vertical or horizontal fusions, drastically boosting their firepower. The game offers a rich and varied experience, featuring both vertical and horizontal scrolling stages, screen-filling bosses, and cinematic animated cutscenes at key moments. Note: The difficulty level is set exceptionally high. You will be met with a relentless onslaught of enemy fire from the very beginning. To conquer the game, mastering enemy spawn patterns is absolutely essential—a hallmark of hardcore shooters. Can you survive the "greatest and final battle in galactic history" and etch your name into the stars? *This application does not have a scene select mode. *The main game and gallery screen (*Gallery) are in Japanese version. *Other menu screens and "How to play" screens are in English. *Flashing lights or patterns may cause dizziness, spasms, or loss of consciousness. If you feel unwell, stop playing immediately and see a doctor. If you have a history of these symptoms, consult a physician before use.
