I got this game today when the eShop updated and played some single player and 3-player co-op. Really brilliant and unique game, with great use of the Gamepad. Using 1, 2 or 3 players are so seamlessly integrated. I wouldn't say that co-op is easier than single player, as some articles have suggested. It's just 2 different things. Highly recommended game.
Hopefully I'll be able to receive a review code for the game "I'm a reviewer at another website", but if not it's definitely high on my must-buy eshop games list.
I am taking my time with this. The price is not so tempting, and as I have said before, I get bored of Nifflas games and never beat them, so I am afraid this one will be the same.
I will comment in this thread, never being able to find it again.

I agree normally, however their first Wii U eshop title was great and this one appears to be one of the best games in-terms of utilizing the Wii U gamepad according to reviews so I'd say the company is doing a better job as of late.
Im not even an hour into the game and I love it so far.(downloaded this morning.) Its quite pretty and relaxing with intuitive gamepad controls. This is the kind of quality third party software we Nintendo fans are looking for.

Playing this too! It's amazing in co-op, all three of us got really engaged in every little puzzle trying to find the best solution together. And we all burst out laughing when everything went haywire and we crashed and burned. The game is challenging but forgiving, so it encourages trial and error. Also has beautiful backgrounds, great sound and fine artwork that help create a really nice atmosphere. Best indie title I've played in ages.

It's a Nifflas&Knapnok collaboration. All Nifflas' past games have been budget indies AFAIK. This is a much more polished game, more than worth the cost of 1.5 amiibo. And it's without a doubt the best use of the Gamepad in any game yet.
IGN has posted a couple of co-op videos (with Jose Otero and Brian Altano) that explains the game quite well. The only thing is that they don't show the content of the Gamepad (which is crucial).
Me, the girlfriend and my sister's boyfriend all had a shot of this on Thursday. We had some hilarious moments like when we flew the ship into some lightning at the beginning and short circuited the ship. I love how each person has a distinct role. It's something the WIi U, with gamepad and all the different control schemes, could really do with more. Very happy with the purchase.

Nintendo Minute did a full video on ASA with lots of good info for those who don't yet know how the game works. (It also contains the chance to win a special ASA collectible.) It explains the Gamepad part better than the IGN videos.
Hi Sparx, Anchel from KnapNok Games here, the team that developed the game.
I can confirm to you that the game includes several languages for the menus, instructions and, yes, subtitles for the videos as well.
They come in English (with separate US and UK versions), French, German, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese (also Brazilian Portuguese).
This game looks so boring and they're shoving it down our throats over at Nintendo. It's almost like they just pick a random indie game and promote the hell out of it until it comes out then it's just there getting trashed or ignored on.

Care to elaborate on that?
Was Mariobro4. No, I'm not taking off my backpack...it's important.
In EDGE #280, Affordable Space Adventures apparently got a considerably higher score than Codename S.T.E.A.M. Haven't played Codename S.T.E.A.M. myself, but ASA is a really great game. http://nintendoeverything.com/edge-280-review-scores/
This is easily one of the best games on Wii U, definitely the best non-Nintendo title.
Playing it in co-op is really unique, there's nothing like it. We were constantly argueing, it got tense, just like it would if you were actually trapped in a small space vehicle fighting for your life. That made it really immersive.
Also, the engineer role (the one with the Gamepad) is really challenging, it's the best use of the Gamepad I've ever seen (I think).
I wanted to reply to those who haven't played it and thought it was boring, but then I saw those posts were from 2015...
