Topic: Yoshi's Island?

i guess that would seem to be the problem, since it is THAT specific chip that was used in the original star fox and yoshi's island. but didn't the donkey kong country games use a chip also? sigh. its all so confusing. maybe someday.

I really liked the yoshi's island sequal for the DS, but there is something about the original that was just so amazing. they really did something special with that game. Just like with star fox, and Zelda LTTP, those are games i remember for years. Now i have the zelda game, but if they can just release the other 2 (mother and mother 2 would be nice also, but i'm not one of those people that wait for something that'll never happen), i'll be happy.

I'm really missing the original star fox so much i;m thinking about getting some Wii points for Star fox 64, though i really want the original.

As for what someone said about promoting yoshi more after mario galaxy 2 with releasing Yoshi's island: well, one can only hope.

Well, look at what they did with Punchout and Metroid. I'll say that Yoshi's Island should be out in Nov.

I don't care much. My brother had it for gba, and it was ok, but nothing to get all excited about.

I have now traded my DS Lite for a DSi. Can no longer play the gba version.
I need Yoshi's Island on the vc even more!

Perhaps Nintendo could do an "FX Monday" and release both Yoshi's Island and Starfox. I know it won't happen, though.

the DS version doesn't do it for me.
i played it and i hated it.
the old snes version is what i loved and hopefully we can see it soon.

You could just buy an old GBA. Problem solved. I do wish that this game was on the VC.

It will come out eventually, it's just that this current console generation (anyone who still refers to it as "next-gen" is a cretin) could last anything up to ten years so obviously Nintendo are reluctant to blow all their highest profile first party games too soon.

Know what's wrong with Yoshi's Island DS? No creepy castle music! Seriously I was so bummed, lol. I love the castle theme from Yoshi's Island. Man, I miss that game.
