I mean, how much Wii games you have, how much have you finished? I have only finished Tatsunoko vs Capcom, becuase I just wanted to get the "Extra Game" and Sin & Punishment: Star Succesor on the Wii on easy.
But I really agree with what IGN says; there are tons of games coming every month, I mean just look at you must-buy games list, how big is it? If I found a level on a game too hard, why will I continue trying to beat it? If I have other 5 games? There is a Bug, who wanted to start the game again? I just go an play any other game. The first levels in the game are boring, I mean, why will I continue playing it if I can play any other games.
There are really few games that captures the player, and make him to finish them. You know, there are tons of games of DS, PC, Wii that I haven't finished. I normally don't got alot of time, I need to study, to do homework, to train sport, and well when I got time, I really don't know wich videogame to play, there are tons of them, there are tons coming, and I haven't finished the half of them.
I buy a game, let's say CoD: Black Ops, I found a level boring, why will I play it again? When I got other thousand of games? I haven't beat Super Mario Galaxy, why? Because I find it a little boring, the game is good, but a little boring, so why will I play it, why will I try to finish the game when I got tons of games there, and tons of games that are gonna be released?
When I got my first game console, a Game Boy Color, I got it with Pokemon Yellow, it was my only game, I try to beat it, and I beat the pokemons league more than 100 time, I got like 8 pokemons in lvl 100 and 10 over lvl 70. But now, if I just get bored of playing DQ IX, I can play any other game. In the old time having a new videogame was like the BIG THING, now, everyones got a new videogame every month.
So I mean, why we don't finish more videogames, I try to find to resume the answer in a phrase: "we are lazy". Why I don't try to beat that hard level?, and just play any other games, we are lazy, but thats not the only reason, we don't have time, in the past, people got alot of time, ok let's spend some hours to ty to beat these game, even if it isn't the most interesting one, even if I need to try 20 times.
So guys, how much Wii games do you want, how much Wii games do you got, and how much of them have you beaten? And try to think... why?
Gamer's worst enemy is not lack of money, it's lack of time. By today, i have to study during afternoons, and beying part of a website means i have to give some time that i have free.
Also, there is a lot of time when i'm not on the mood and only play games that dont rquiere a lot of thinking like Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes, ModNation Racers or Trinity Universe. Wish ii play more Super Mario Galaxy 2 where i have only 0 stars in two or more months, buts since i have, but i simply dont want to play that game when i have time.
I have the time, I just bought too many games. This is why people who are saying not that many games are coming out, you guys are buying too much at a time. Back in the day we only had a round 2 games and played the heck out of them. I'm gonna be honest, I'm being Lazy. I'm playing Monster Hunter cause I don't NEED to pass it. I can play online, I feel like I'm forced to pass the other games because I haven't beaten them, and that's why I don't pop them in.
Simple I buy to many at one time a bounce between them all. Than before I finish the ones I already have another bunch of games come out that I want to play thus adding to my pile. Lol

Ha! Yeah, I almost never finish games unless it is incredibly awesome or a mainly multiplayer game with a single player little extra (i.e. CoD) Well, I guess it kinda depends on how you define "finish." Like is finishing SMG2 defeating Bowser or getting all 242 stars? If it is the former, then I guess I do finish a lot of my games.
In fact, it depend. I buy a lot of game, then play each of time, slowly. All my Wii games are completed (except... smash, lol), and half of my VC database is done, or more. It depends on the time you got and the motivation you have and especially if the game is good or not.
If any of you have been watching my sig, you can tell I'm not blazing through games. I'm mainly a completionist. However, I never could beat Count Bleck's place at the end of SPM. I think this is because I hurried throught the game too fast and burnt out on it.

I did the same thing, but to be fair, there are no Checkpoints through most of the Count Bleck levels, and they're extremely long freakin' levels. IMO, it just isn't worth the time. I spend 30 minutes on a level, snag on a hard part, then have to start all over again.
I finished Kirby Squeak Squad also Pokemon Snap, NSMB, NSMBW, and SMG, and that is all
im so close in Chibi Robo PP and the original, Wario World, SM64, SM64DS, Stafy 4, Ouendan 1 and 2, EBA, Kirby Canvas Curse, Kirby 64, DKC, DKJB DKJC, and KH 358.
I think my problem is that I have school, and that I havent really Tried, I just need to go for a few hrs and play all of them
Digitaloggery 3DS FC: Otaku1 WiiU: 013017970991 Nintendo of Japan niconico community is full of kawaii! Must finish my backlagg or at least get close this year W...
I think players are always looking for new experiences, thats why most of us, get in the middle of a game, but can spend hours and hours in multiplayer.
... Ehhhh.... I don't really feeeeeel like finishing a game....
/me goes back to sleep
Honestly...this is me lately...dunno what the deal is. Just, keep feeling like going to bed all the time and not caring about video games. (or anything else for that matter)

The other day I opened up my games cupboard to choose a game to play, and all I was looking at were the games that I hadn't "beat" yet. So I picked Metroid Other M and started playing it. The game was frustrating me (controls, being boring, etc) but I kept on going because I hadn't finished it yet. It was then I thought to myself "why am I pushing myself through a game that I don't really like just to finish it, instead of playing the games I enjoy?"
So now I've decided to trade-in/sell about 20 or so games that I don't really want to play anymore, but have been pushing through just so I could "beat" it. With the limited time I have to play games, I thought "why bother?" it's not like I'm proving anything, I should just concentrate on play games I enjoy.
Now I'm going to rent a lot more. Even though I've got the money to spend on lots of games, I'm only gonna buy the ones I really enjoy.
