Except I sent away brawl in January to be fixed and it never got returned. And I kind of suck at Melee and don't have much will to improve since I have no one to play against, I need lots of L-cancel work for starters.
Wow, you just pick characters based on how annoying they are, huh? Haha. I absolutely hate playing against Pikachu online. Most players just thunder spam the whole time, which despite require nothing but minimal consciousness from the Pikachu user, often ends up KOing quite a few in free-for-alls since you'll accidentally knock your other opponents into the lightning and vice versa. So irritating. >.<
Of course, Peach only has the most annoying taunt (and victory line: Ohh, did I wiiin?), so she's not so bad. In fact, just earlier I KO'ed a Peach player 5 times in one match on that bridge level (Zelda level) by standing on the side the whole time and throwing her right when she got close enough. The other two players probably hated me for it, but they didn't try to stop me.
I have to say Wolf. He's the best, he's strong and fast. I loved him ever since I played Star Fox. I like his energy sheild to. My top three 1.Wolf 2.Lucas 3.Marth

Link is decent. As long as you play on Bridge of Elding. His recovery is probably the worst in the game, gimping him is ridiculously easy. He's the 4th worst character in the game according to the official Tier List. Playing low tier characters is really fun, I love Mario, Jiggs and Sonic ^^ And Peach is not that high either, she's #19 out of 37 characters. My only top tier character is King Dedede (#4), but he's probably my most ignored main.
