Topic: Who still plays brawl?

I do I Just Beat the SSE for the 2nd time Today

Why wouldnt anybody still play Brawl, its a game with plenty of Replay. Sure I dont play it to death everyday but when I get some mates round or when my son wants to play it you can play it from five mins to a couple of hours no worries. Same with Mario Kart and no doubt the new mario bros wii coming out soon.
Nintendo have the nack of making titles that have a decent shelf life like these staple wii games.

I do, but the past few days when I try and find a match online, nobody is online. It sucks because I like online brawling.

Not me, haven't played it in months, once I got all the characters that was it for me, couldn't be bothered collecting the rest, fun while it lasted but I got bored with it after that, sure there was tons to collect but it just didn't appeal to me.

I play the odd time, I just collected the last two trophies two days ago.

Nope, it didn't have the lasting appeal that Melee did, plus my Wii is crap and won't play it, which doesn't help.

My copy hasn't worked in over 6 months.

On occasion, if I have someone else to play with. I've tired of playing bots and the single-player modes long ago. Already put over 300 hours into it, over 200 of which was actually in game, not menus, according to the ever-comprehensive Brawl data screen.

I play occasionally, but school and my DSi has been taking up my time.

My wii will play it, but only after letting it try (and fail) to read the disc, then take it out, put it back in again, wait 10 seconds for it to load while making an annoying buzzing sound, then play. Anyway, I still love this game. I don't play it constantly like I did the first two months, but I can still beat up a level 9 com any day.

No. I bought it when it came out and found it be a load of (very pretty and well-realised) button mashing.

Stopped playing a while ago, but I'm eventually going to play it again. It's just TOO good of a game to put down completely =D

I played it for 200+ hrs in the first 3 months I had it, then didn't play it much until recently.

almost nightly. i just recently got my college roommate into it, and we have a scoreboard going on the wall. i'm currently losing... it's embarrassing...

Read the instruction manual. I thought the same thing when I rented it, but after reading the move list, there is strategy involved.

APPARENTLY NO ONE PLAYS BRAWL ONLINE ANYMORE. During the summer I would find matches, but now nobody even comes online.
