Topic: Who is picking up Wii Sports Resort tomorrow?

im going to get at christmas. im also getting a wii at christmas lol.. i dont have one yet

The 3pt contest is awesome. I've been playing basketball since I was a little fella and now at 30 this is a very cool mode. It feels pretty spot on. It's interactive IF you mimic the motions.
I like Frisbee, but I'm still getting down the hang of of the controls. Not really sure where to properly hold the remote at.
I think the bowling is funner/better than the original wii sports.
Cycling is a nice workout on the arms, but thankfully it's not about crazy pumping of the arms.
Sword Fighting was a BLAST playing that against my girlfriend.
Flying the plane... a lot cooler than I thought it would be.

Everything on this feels well put together. 12 games with various extra modes really did make this game feel full. Job well done Nintendo. Job well done.

Im getting tiger and wii sports resort resort today (two motion plus' which i want for my bro and me, and two great bundles. SWEET!)

I've given a good deal of time to all of the sports now. Here's my rankings:

I really like all of the games. One of the best Wii games of the year, if you ask me. If you're looking for a party game, look no further than this gem.

To me, the bowling is a lot more difficult on Wii Sports Resort. I really like the 100 pin bowling and the spin control, however.

I absolutely love golf. In my opinion it plays better than Tiger Woods. Too bad there are only 18 holes, though.

I'm not buying it today, but I know I will own it eventually. On my backlog for sure.

There's 6, 18 hole courses!!!
Courses are: Classic A, Classic B, and Classic C. Then you have 3 new ones for WS:R. You can either play 3 holes, 9 holes, or 18 holes of each course. There's a lot in there! It's impressive to see that many.

Err, you are confused, Zeke. Each course set you list has 3 holes. If you play more than 3 holes, you are just playing a combination of courses from existing 3-hole sets, which means there are indeed 18 holes in total (which is more than enough for me).

@Adam: Yeah. Still, one more course would've extended the replay value for me. But of course it does record your scores, which extends the replay value and adds some competition between people.

And! I broke even in my last 9 hole game. That was awesome.

LOL sorry, i love the game too but (i know its your own opinion) but i really disagree lol i have both and all the tuning in tiger and controls are just perfect to me. But i play real golf occasionally to so i guess its naturally natural to swing lol I love the character creator in tiger though!

I've played golf recently too, and Tiger Woods felt unnatural to me. Sports Resort nailed it.

That sucks. I really thought it was 6 full courses. I guess I've misread the reviews. shrugs Sorry guys.

may i correct all of you guys? there are 21 golf/frisbee golf courses.

@Diceaadgshwjwert: The game itself is $30, but you're required to buy it (and it's only available) with MotionPlus, which is $20, so it's $50 total.

@pixelman I thought that the Motion+ was "BONUS." (Really hilarious advertising from Nintendo.)

Oh right, forgot about the special courses because I've yet to unlock them. How do you unlock them, by the way? Do you have to do so through Golf, or can you do it through Frisbee Golf?
