Topic: Wheres baseball???

Why has Ken Griffey presents: Major League baseball, Baseball Stars, and RBI Baseball NOT been released yet on VC???? They are, by far, the best baseball games ever released for nintendo!!!

They'd probably have to take out the Griffey part.

And since the Griffey part is a bigger part than the Tyson part in Punch Out, it probably won't happen.

I'd suggest MLB Power Pros. For 20 bucks you get the best baseball game this gen and one of the best Wii games ever.

Base Wars was the best baseball game ever. Robots playing baseball and occasionally getting into fights with each other? Pure genius.

I am suprised at the lack of soccer games om VC - very few had proper team names; I know the FIFA series did but not sure about which others also did. I'm not a fan of soccer but I'm just surprised how few are on the VC when there seemed to be loads created.

Mega Man Soccer!!!

Mega Man Soccer was... interesting. I remember there was one spot, I think the corner of the penalty area, that if you kicked diagonally from, it nearly always went in. I loved having all the bosses run about and their special moves. The game had a lot of charm. I'd certainly play it again.

I seem to remember FIFA 64 being a pretty good one. It doesn't seem likely to come out soon though, what with the general lack (or is it a complete lack? I forget) of third-party 64 titles. I'd love to see a good soccer title on VC. I have FIFA 08 on PS3, which is pretty good, but the older sports games had a different kind of appeal.

Heh. Yeah. Megaman Soccer would be a good addition to the Virtual Console.
