I'd have bought Plattchen by now if it was half the price, just to see if it's really as difficult and convoluted as people say. I'm a sucker for puzzle games, and there's a fine line, sometimes, between cleverly-complicated and overly-complicated, so I'd love to decide for myself where this one falls.
Unfortunately, most of the reviews seem to lean toward it being awful, and I played Bit Boy by the same developers which WAS awful, so without a price drop I'll have to pass.
The Strong Bad Games - if there was a deal to get all of them like on the PC. I have a mac, so I can't get them on PC. FFIV The After Years - Need to evaluate if the DLC is worth it or not, and how much it costs. Given my backlog of retail and VC titles, everything else pretty much looks like a waste of time/money to me.
I'll probably end up buying a Bit.Trip game and World of Goo though. WoG is the one WW game that's cheaper than on the PC, and BT is pretty cheap.
I'll pretty much give any 500 point game a try (other than the obvious crap games that not even Crisbo Herrs would like lol) and have only gotten four that were over that amount (Cave Story, Star Soldier R, Castlevania Adventure Rebirth and Art Style: Orbient). I think Space Invaders got it right the way they did it. The base download gives you enough content for 500 points for pick up and play arcade action but gives you the opprotunity to pick up the other ones for 500 points a pop if you want more. On the other end of the spectrum is My Life as a King. It's an expensive starting cost with more cost involved to finish the game. I know it's pretty much the same idea as Space Invaders but the difference is Space Invaders has always been about score, not story so the extra levels only matter if you just want more areas to play in, FF games are about the story not the points. It's not an arcade game, big difference. But then again, I'm a cheap bastard so your milage may vary.

world of goo. I didn't really like the demo... but everybody says it's awesome, so if it was priced lower, i'll buy it. those "my life as a king" games too. And Dr. Mario. But I think I'll buy these games anyway at some point, especially Goo and Dr. Mario.
So ends a saga older than time itself. The World's oldest and fiercest army has been led to victory, and a lost generation is delivered from its fear of extinction. As the sun sets over the field of conflict the dinosaurs disperse, hoping never to set foot in this place a...
you should get a couple of these games no matter what their price is, because they're the essence of the entire thing... IMO.

I agree with mnementh. You should really give Swords & Soldiers a shot because it's easily worth the 1000 points. Decent campaign mode, tons of challenging achievements to chase, good local multiplayer, bonus modes to master... there is a lot of great gameplay there. Winter of the Melodias is also worth buying at the current price, although I really wish that Lost Winds was a bit cheaper.
Token Girl has a great suggestion, although for me it would be the Tales of Monkey Island (ToMI) games instead of Strong Bad. ToMI is worse because it's all a single connected story, so you can't pick and choose what episodes to buy - and once you start, it's pointless if you don't get the whole thing. When you can buy the entire first season of Sam & Max on disc for $10 (or the second season for $20), ToMI feels like a rip off at $50 for all five episodes - especially with all the technical issues that TellTale's WiiWare engine exhibits during gameplay.
Finally, I agree with Yasume about Penguins & Friends. The game seems pretty cool, and I'd be happy to try the WiiWare version instead of the actual board game. (The board game is just called: "Hey! That's My Fish!") But the video game port seemed technically underwhelming... if it was cheaper I'd overlook the lack of polish, but with so many other great games competing for my points I'm not quite sold on buying that one.
So far, I've just bought every game I've wanted regardless of price.
Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.

Don't tempt me to buy him Niki Rock N Ball.
If you can wait until next friday, I'll gift it to him along with NHL Shootout (if he promises to do a Save State Gamer NEO on them lol)

Not many. If I want a wiiware game I usually just pay out for it and that's that (after a grumble about the price, lol). I think the only ones are Palluriko 500 points, Adventure Island 500 points and possibly Moki Moki 500 points
