Topic: What is up with Wii Sports Resort High Scores?

I think the game is fantastic but one thing that bothers me and that I don't quite understand is the way the High Scores work.

I picked up the game yesterday and gave it a good crack last night, racking up some decent scores. The girlfriend also had a go and by some miracle managed to beat my scores on one or two events.

I fired the game up again this evening and all of the scores achieved yesterday are gone from the table, although the best score I got yesterday is still mentioned on some events.

I can't seem to see any rhyme or reason for what scores are saved and which are not, can anyone shed any light on this?

The whole draw for a multiplayer game like this for me is to compare my performance against others as well as my previous attempts, I know Nintendo like to make everyone feel like they have won but surely not by deleting previous scores?

absolut highscores are saved, everything under is just saved for the session. yeah it's stupid.

Is that the all time best for each Mii or the overall best for that event that is permanently saved?

that's a good question but by watching multiplayer rounds i would assume it's overall...but it's just a guess
