Topic: What happens when the new batch of demos is released?

Do you think they'll deactivate the demos already released to give you more reason to get the games? Or can you play them until they're deleted? Just wanted your opinions.

Oh I hope they continue with it. They can see that the demos are actually making a big difference in sales. If they can allow other developers to pick up on this, then more obscure games will have a bigger chance amongst a wide crowd. I'm sure they'll alow you to play them even after the expiration date. I'm hoping that demos don't get removed though and if they do, they'd better return with the full force I mentioned above.

I too have been wondering if we'll be able to keep any demo's that we download, or... will they vanish from the Wii menu on the 1st Feb. Guess we'll have to wait and see. :/

I dont think so, Look at the Metroid Prime 3 Preview channel. Its still on my Wii home, doesnt work but its there.

The Prime 3 preview channel was kinda like a mini Nintendo Channel. It had a few videos of gameplay and the story not too dissimilar from what you can get on the Nintendo Channel for the Trilogy. From memory there was also some artwork in the background which changed to another artwork if you erased enough of the background. That's it.

Once the channel expired it stayed on the Menu it just told you to delete it if you loaded it. I kept it on my Menu until the WiIWare pre-SD Card Menu forced me to clean the fridge.
