So part of the team that worked on Super Smash Bros. Brawl also developed TMNT: Smash Up, and it's pretty obvious that this is a Smash Bros. clone. My question is, do we consider it another Super Smash Bros. game, or just something very similar (read: rip-off)?
Personally, I would love to see Nintendo take the bull by the horns and make Super Smash Bros. games specifically tailored to non-Nintendo franchises - like "Super Smash Bros: Star Wars Edition". Any thoughts?

It wouldn't be a Smash Bros game then. It would just be a Star Wars smash clone.
