Who knows what surprises Nintendo has in store for us at E3. An online F-Zero would be pretty cool but Nintendo doesn't have the best record of supporting online games. I for one would like to see it happen!
I just happen to think it would be a great boost for the console as a whole. Wii has shown that it can play online aka mario kart, but could use some more serious racing. Mario kart is fun and all, but it has those annoying items and whatnot.
Yeah, anything to boost(not a pun, I swear) Nintendo's first party line-up would be a great addition plus I miss F-Zero! We are long overdue for another! Personally I never bought Mario Kart Wii although I still want to get it one day. I think I'll end up getting Excite Bots first because it looks really fun!
I wouldn't worry about online play. Mario Kart and Excite Bots both had it, so Nintendo wouldn't release another racer without it. Online took awhile to get here, but it's here to stay.
I highly doubt it, personally. Since Excitebots just came out I don't think Nintendo would want to drown it out. That's considering they're making one at all.
As much as I hope otherwise, I agree with the Captain here. But if it means getting a new Star Fox instead, no complaints. I can wait for F-Zero. Plus, it seems like Nintendo has been doing one racer a year, which is pretty nice. Excite Trucks, Mario Kart, Excite Bots, maybe F-Zero next year... is that right? I forget how long it's been since the Wii came out.
