Don't worry guys they've got something up their sleeve that's for sure. It's Nintendo and you know they are full of surprises. Me thinks Star fox and F-Zero might be making their grand return.

At first i thought this would be a thread about AlexSays saying "Hello again !" after he´s not been here for some time. Since i couldn´t read the full title of it in the preview.
But yeah, what else can he actually say ... And while i think Nintendo will still provide some great titles on the Wii i´m not so sure about any third parties. Except for Conduit 2 and Last Story.
...Donkey Kong Country Returns wasn't a big release? lol
No. Just as that Wario platformer wasn't a big release.
It ran along the same lines as Excitebots or Animal Crossing.
Um, excuse you. Donkey Kong Country Returns was a big release, and it sold millions of copies. It's still cranking out big money. We also had Epic Mickey and Goldeneye 007--two more highly anticipated games that also broke the million mark.

Yeah I heard about the yellow box. That was crazy.
The fact you brought Epic Mickey doesn't help at all. Apparently every average game released on the Wii is a big release on par with a game like Zelda.
We're going to have to disagree on this one. Ironically of all the games mentioned, you left out the only one that can actually be considered a big release. (Hint: There's a reason I wouldn't acknowledge it, big or not).

Ha that would have been awesome. Where my fans at?!

I think you're mistaking "big" with "good." Epic Mickey was definitely not as quality as a Zelda game by any means. But it outsold the last Zelda game, Spirit Tracks, by a pretty large margin. Mickey had a huge advertising campaign and months worth of hype behind it. It might not have been an GREAT release, but it was an undeniably BIG one.
Also, I don't know what yellow box you're referring to.

I'm using a big release as meaning a defining game for the Wii. You're using big as literally as possible.
Super Mario Galaxy was a big release for the Wii. Wii Sports Plus was a big release for the Wii. They helped define the console and are the shining points of the Wii's library.
The next game to do that will likely be Zelda, until then the Wii has gone a while without any landmark games.
According to everyone's definition here, there's like 50 "big releases" for the Wii. You all just have a very "different" categorization method from my own.
Edit: I even came up with a current example because I'm so nice. Everyone hear about Bulletstorm? A game just released that has A TON of marketing. Bulletstorm even has decent reviews, and is projected to sell almost 5 million. Is that a "big release" in any way, shape or form?
No, not at all. It didn't change anything, didn't sell any systems, it was just a solid game with a bunch of advertising. There are lots of those games.

It's all relative; Bulletstorm is average for a 360/PS3 game. In every way.
I think I understand where you're coming from, Alexsays. I don't agree, but I understand
In any case, I think this IS going to be a good year for the Wii. New Kirby, Rhythm Heaven, Zelda and that mysterious new IP Nintendo teased all have me excited.
