Topic: Tales of Monkey Island

I just read that TOMI is a graphic adventure game. Is it a point-and-click adventure game like SBCG4AP? If so, I might pick it up (one episode at a time, of course).

Yes it is. But unlike SBCG4AP, the entire game follows one large storyline.

That's fine. Are there any other point-and-click adventure games on WiIWare?

None that I can think of. Closest thing to it would probably be Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney.

Are the Sam & Max games as good as Hit the Road?

Opinions on them are mixed, but I thought so.

The quality for Sam & Max: Season 1 on Wii varies from episode to episode. My feeling is that the overall game isn't as good as Hit the Road... but there's a lot of nostalgia coming out there. The good news is that you can find the game very cheap -- all six episodes on disc only costs $10 (new!) at Canadian EB Games, and I'd assume that people in other countries can find similar deals. So even if the quality of humor is slightly lower, the price makes them TOTALLY worth owning.

There have also been rumors that the second series of episodes are about to be released. I hope that's true, because it's a series I would be happy to play more of!
