I know I haven't seen really any mention of the USB port use for the Wii on this forum or anywhere really, and some one can go start a thread on something like that after reading this if they want however for this we're exploring the 'retro-side' that can come into play.
USB adaptor box for both NES and SNES controllers To allow you to use vintage game controllers for those games on the Virtual Console.
The reason I haven't mention N64 controller till now is for it to be separate and be a special device that would allow use of rumble pak, controller pak, for N64 games.
It may be difficult, not worth it, or some such, so is the virtual console just good enough to play and be able to 'pause' and continue later, or do we want to see more support in terms of peripherals, new systems, better compatibilities, and so on.
For me it's just great that we even get to play those vC games on the Wii!
The option to use the old controlers woud be awsome but rather then make the old ones compatable I'd be more likely to see new ones that just look like the old ones that that stick on the back thee ol wii remote
There are a few adapters out there now that let you use original NES, SNES, N64 and other actual controllers. www.retrousb.com sells NES and SNES ones, I know there are other websites for others, I don't remember them off the top of my head.
