Back in the 90s SEGA put out two Arcade Jurassic Park games. Jurassic Park and The Lost World, both being Railed Shooters you've read the title so you already know where I'm going with this. I think that SEGA should port these 2 arcade games to the Wii. Just clean up the graphic a little, make compatible with Motion Plus for added precision I'm sure it would work great. Edit:Its not uncommon for Arcade Shhoters to get console ports SEGA has already ported its House of the Dead Arcade games to the Wii Time crisis was ported to PS2 back in the day
Funny timing - I was actually looking online for some footage of Sega Lost World arcade game just yesterday. I used to love that game - the T-rex attack at the end of the first level was fantastic and the graphics were superb for the time.
I think it's highly unlikely Lost World (or Jurassic Park for that matter) will ever be released on the Wii. For a start it's a Model 3 arcade game and, whilst it boasted incredible graphics in 1997, it'll look somewhat dated today. It was released roughly the same time as the original House of the Dead (albeit using more advanced hardware) and it's just too dated today for a standalone Wii release.
I'm not going to rule it out because of licencing issues - it's always possible Sega could snap up the Jurassic Park licence and release them as I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to obtain. I just don't think it's worth porting them, though. If Sega had the Jurassic Park licence again, I reckon they'd create an all new game instead.
I see alot of potential in Jurassic Park games with todays game consoles Shooters, Sim, Action Adventure, even Fighting and RPG It would be cool if somebody made a game that was closer to the Books. As the Film are very different from the Novels
Survival Horror would be a perfect genre for a JP game
