Well I guess that's at least better than rushing it, I think this game looks as if it will be worth the wait.

I'm not upset about that, usually I would be, but there's just so much to play at the moment. Early 2010 seems strange though cos they're missing on the Christmas madness.

I don't think it's that strange. If you're a 3rd party mature title that is coming out for the Wii, would you want to compete for market space with New Super Mario Bros Wii? I wouldn't.

Good point.

Another sad piece of news. The fact it is delayed just means the game will be better. It looks like the only big Wii games this holiday season are New Super Mario Bros. Wii and Tatunksko VS Capcom.

I don't think it's all that sad. You make a good point Sonic, it'll be that much more polished when it does come out AND it'll probably get a lot more coverage and bigger sales if it is released on a week in 2010 where that is the big release. That wouldn't happen come holiday season. I mean Red Steel is a big deal but as a mature Wii title, it'd end up getting lost in the shuffle. It's just the nature of the beast that is Wii owners buying trends.

I'm kinda happy about that actually because this is a must buy day one game... pre-order even... and right now i'm broke

That's good news if the delay is down to more polish. I always support delays if they result in an improved experience. I will be slightly disappointed not to have it this year, but that may mean a breather for my wallet or a purchase like Anno or Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2.
