It has been announced that Nintendo will be publishing Junction Point's "Disney's Epic Mickey" in Japan. But this isn't just a regular localization- as the game will have it's camera and control issues fixed under Nintendo's supervision.
Nintendo will also publish UbisoftJust Dance 2 and Activision's Goldeneye 007.
Glad Nintendo is nintendofying Epic Mickey.
As for the Ninty version of Epic Mickey making it outside of Japan- no word and it's really unlikely.
It makes me kind of ticked when Nintendo bends over backwards to brings high-selling games to Japan but when Japan gets an awesome game with little chance of localisation, Nintendo doesn't do jack about it for us. Boo hoo Japan. God forbid you actually miss any half decent games at all :/ DOn't get me wrong, every region should get the good games I just kind of wish it worked both ways....
@bboy2970 actually I heard some japanese wii games are coming over here. Plus when we don't get a japanese game it is usually because nintendo doesn't see a good market over here. Meaning the game is about something we might not get or like.

Nintendo of America and Nintendo of Japan aren't the same thing

I understand your frustration, but Disney Epic Mickey always had a Western publisher in the form of Disney Interactive, so Nintendo of America never needed to step in. Without Nintendo Company Ltd. or another Japanese publisher, though, the game would most likely never have been released in Japan, which would have been a great shame.
