Why is there so much hate on the game? I loved it. I never truly enjoyed the Zelda series until I played it. It has absolutely no replay value, that I can agree with, but it was loads of fun.

The Game.

Is it after 9PM EST? You should probably ignore the above post.

I think Chicken, myself, and a million others have covered this in the many previous "Why TP sucks" threads. Might have to dig through some Micawber posts, though, so I can't say I advise looking up these perilous threads of yore.

Come on, friends,
To the bear arcades again.

We have seen like 1 piece of concept art so far so there is no chance of seeing the finished game released next year. I imagine it will be Nintendo's show piece at next years E3 though.

I played TP through 6 times. I thought it was a blast. To each his own, I guess.

I never could pick up the gumption to finish TP. It was fun, but I found it easy to forget about. While waiting for the next Zelda on the Wii (or new console) I will have time to finish I'm thinking late 2011 with a new console and Wii, like TP was (Gamecube and Wii both).

I also think that Twilight Princess is an excellent game that is anything BUT devoid of replay value. I do not understand why this specific Zelda title is so polarizing. Zelda II, I understand. Majora's Mask, I understand. Twilight Princess, not so much.

My Backloggery Updated sporadically. Got my important online ID's on there, anyway. :P

@Stuffgamer1 - maybe because they gave it an unhealthy amount of hype and that backfired with the greedy hardcores. I liked it. Not my favorite but I did liked it a lot.

Nobody ever said that this upcoming Zelda will come on 2010. I suspect that we'll se a trailer or a teaser but I think we'll see it on 2011 the earliest.

Is a very important franchise for Nintendo so I bet they will take some time before releasing it.

Again, I'm glad I generally don't pay attention to excessive hype over games.

Also, I guess that must be why they've still said very little about Spirit Tracks?

I'm not fussed with waiting until 2011, if we do, only because I think that if Miyamoto and the others take their time developing it, then we 'might' have something that is on par With 'Ocarina of Times' greatness (in my and many others opinion). I remember the wait for Twilight Princess felt like an eternity.

Yeah, didn't expect a 2010 release. There'll be Spirit Tracks and most likely another Zelda DS between then and now, though. Maybe they'll remake one of the GB/GBC Zeldas with the PH/ST engine. I'd love to see the Zelda Oracles games re-released with Toon Link. That is, provided we aren't due some kind of Virtual Handheld on DSi.
