I wanted to share a bit of story with you guys. Over this past weekend (the weekend before E3) my Wii stopped working...bummer. It seemed like it was a corrupted onboard storage as I couldn't access anything, the system booted fine though. I sent an email to Nintendo about it and they replied back stating that I should call in. I did so once I got home from work, and to my surprise they told me that they would setup it where I can send in my system and get it repaired for free (side note, I bought the system day 1 camped out at a local Toy R Us)! Shipping and handling was paid for, also the representative told me that they would try their hardest to recover all my saved data, and if they weren't able to fix they will issue a new console with 1 year warranty and I can re-download all my games to it...now that is what I call good service!

I'm worried that my Wii is about to die too. I'm getting messages about corrupted memory quite frequently (always after using Wii Fit Plus, sometimes with other games) and it's slowly getting worse. Glad to hear that Nintendo customer service are treating you well - hopefully they'll do the same for me if it comes to that.
