Topic: Mario and sonic at the 2012 olympic games do you think they should stop with the series?

Well this is the third entree in the series and i really didnt even think there would be another after the second and i have a feeling they'll be making another.

I hope there aren't anymore. I would much rather they released a Mario and Sonic platformer rather than another Olympics game.

I can absolutely guarantee you'll see Mario and Sonic at the 2014 Winter Olympic Games for Wii U and 3DS.

The series is stupid. I want them to make a game with Mario and Sonic, but make it a normal game not stupid sports.

I was disapointed in the new one. They really took a step back from the Winter Games. It was pretty good, but the London one was bare bones, and weird controls. I wish they would put Mario and Sonic in a really good game together. Those IP's deserve better.

i agree. i like SEGA but they need to stop milking it and put out a mario and sonic platformer.

Mario and Sonic Olympic games are going to end up being like the EA sports games a new one coming out every year that there is an Olympic game.

I like the M&S games, so I would like to see more.

Why? The first one was way back in 2008. Winter Olympics 2010 and London Olympics 2012. You don't complain about the many, generic sequels released over a shorter period on the psbox consoles do you? All of them have been outstanding for family gamers tbh. SEGA need this series partly to stay alive ffs.

The controls on 2012 are improved as they're based more on timing and therefore skill and less on waggle.

Looking forward to 2014 (that's two whole years away people)

I agree, they are great games and well designed. More people should give them a chance.

I honestly was shocked to see a third entry to the series. I absolutely HATED the 2012 Demo on the eshop, didnt do themselves any favors there. The winter olympics was nice, only because it wasn't a repeat in my opinion, and a good game too. But 2012 seemed to be a cash in, and plants the idea in everyones head that this will keep on going for years...
Wake me when they make a Mario and Sonic platforming Cross-over with the Sonic Team turned NST developer making it. It has to be the only reason he crossed ememy lines right?

I really liked the last Winter Olympics games. They had more depth than the minigames for the London Olympics game.

If the next Winter Olympics takes after the last, I am all for it.
