To me best thrid party game on wii is resdient evil 4...
I have it second to Monster Hunter Tri.
Let me cover the rest. Hard to decide which one is the best 3rd party wii game.
Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition Monster Hunter Tri Bully: Scholarship Edition Silent Hill: Shattered Memories Ókami Little King's Story GoldenEye No More Heroes 1&2
I think Just Dance 2 is fun. I sometimes use my Wii as an exercise machine, and JD2 works great that way. I know it's certainly not the best third party game out there, but it's more accessible to the average Wii owner than No More Heroes, Little King's Story or Monster Hunter.
eh, what did you expect?! When you have a console that has 90 million users of which 60 millions are people not interested in serious videogaming, that's what you end up with. Well, at least Just Dance is a fun game and gives you a good dose of exercise and laughs (in multiplayer). I play it with the missus often. It's not that bad...it's not Carnival Games is it?
I, however, expected Ubisoft to release a lot more "serious" stuff for Wii, since they made millions with the Just Dance serie and it, in theory, should have paid for other games.
Top-10 games I played in 2017: The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild (WiiU) - Rogue Legacy (PS3) - Fallout 3 (PS3) - Red Dead Redemption (PS3) - Guns of Boom (MP) - Sky Force Reloaded (MP) - ...
I hope the best selling Wii U 3rd party is MH4 or something... BIG
Digitaloggery 3DS FC: Otaku1 WiiU: 013017970991 Nintendo of Japan niconico community is full of kawaii! Must finish my backlagg or at least get close this year W...
My College Sister bought Just Dance 2, (like in December) and I have to say that it isn't a shovelware game.. Like it's jam-packed with Downloadable Content, Unlockable Songs, Special Dances, and over 60 Songs.

just to clarify, according to the original article on gamasutra, 14 mil. is the amount of sales for the whole Just Dance franchise, including the main games and multiple spinoffs. Just Dance 2 is probably closer to half of that (according to VGC) http://www.gamasutra.com/view/news/35893/Ubisofts_Just_Dance_...

Its true that it isn't a terrible game like carnival games but it still would've been better if a game more worthy of being the best-selling third-party wii game got that title.
Since the Wii Remote only tracks arm/wrist movement, putting a dancing game on the system is a poor idea. Kinect works much better for dancing games, since the cameras track your entire body. Or even PS Move would work well, since it combines the Wii Remote tech with a motion-tracking camera.

Technically speaking, it is very true, but you're not thinking about the target audience. People who buy Just Dance (mostly girls) can't care less if it's just their wrist or the whole body being tracked, they just want to dance to the songs they like. And if you play the Wii game, even if it's tracking just your wrist, you'll find that, following the whole body movements makes it actually easier (and funnier) than just swinging your arm according to the dancer on screen.
