Ouch, Haunted Castle's difficulty is just insane. You only get 3 credits, whether you use them for continues or life bar extensions. Also, I believe there were several versions of the game, the cruelest killing you in only two hits. I do recall the second level having skeleton mermaids, at which point the game was already expecting you to learn the enemy's hitbox to survive. I suppose the problem with Kid Dracula (the first game, a Famicom exclusive) is they'd need to translate it, because one boss fight turns into a quiz game. (shouldn't be any problem releasing the Game Boy sequel on 3DS)
um yeah, Bloodlines for the Genesis please then and only then will i download Rondo Of Blood

As @ogo79 said, the SNS-RZ-USA is a prime giveaway that it's not a legit retail cart.
And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)

Uhm, why not? This seems illogical and silly. You're missing out on a fantastic game. I want Bloodlines as much as the next person, but I'm not going to boycott other great games in the Castlevania series because Konami is being stubborn and idiotic about putting it on VC.

[ Didn't Bloodlines tecnically come out before Rondo retail wise? Anyways, I'd suck it up and play Rondo immediatly. It's an amazing experience, easily one of the best Castlevania games out of the bunch. SCIV is my favorite, but I'd probably tie CIII and Rondo for 2nd place. Anyways, we don't know what's cooking down in Konami Land and how long it will take for those Clowns to release Bloodlines on the VC so I'd go for Rondo dude!
Rondo came out in October of 1993(but only in japan of course). Bloodlines came out in March of 1994.
I've wanted to get original copies of the GB Castlevanias, but I've wondered if I should wait and see if I can find the European colorized versions (Konami GB Collection, Vol. 1 and 4). Unfortunately the last EU copy of 4 I saw on ebay was like $60 loose (not as interested in the Japanese, since those aren't GBC). If that's really what they go for, I'll guess I'll have to pass and get a standard cart instead. Though it's likely Konami will put the originals on 3DS VC.
ok i downloaded Rondo Of Blood just now, i hope it convinces Konami just that much more to release Bloodlines. both of these games are epic imo

I'll concur with the Kid Dracula nomination, it'd be really cool if the Famicom version was made available as an import title. They'd have to at least translate the Statue of Liberty quiz, but it looks like such an incredibly fun game.
