Farewell to the Wii Shop but you were somewhat useless to begin with why? because the Wii only has 512mb of storage space on the Nand meaning you can’t download much from the Wii Shop which has around 16gb worth of games. The best way is to download WADs (Virtual Console, Wii Ware games, Channels) these can be downloaded online and then install them onto an emulated Nand and have that extra storage space for your saves. An Emulated Nand can be your USB drive, SD Card, HDD. 32gb should be more than enough for an emulated Nand to download every Wii Ware/Virtual Console game as well as the Wii Menu being able to recognize it any higher then 32gb and the Wii menu will not recognize it but it still can be used in the homebrew channel, emulators, USB Loader GX etc. Just cannot be used for photos, extra channels on the main menu, mainly official stuff.
Free the Wads for PC. Download: https://gbatemp.net/download/free-the-wads.2206/ or Google Free the Wads. The program can be used to mod and patch your Wads, for example, You want to make your Wads region free or run in a certain region this program is for you.
Then download and put dx2 to CIOs which is an application for patching your firmware. Put this app it into the SD Card apps folder and the root. Make sure SD Card is formatted as Fat32.

"1. Startup NUS Downloader. If you don't have it, you can grab it on its page (or direct download link)
2. Make sure that "Pack WAD" is enabled.
3. Using the database, navigate to the following files and press start NUS Download for each one:
IOS -> IOS56 -> v5661
IOS -> IOS57 -> v5918
4. Open the NUS Downloader directory (the folder where you placed NUS Downloader, you can use extras -> open NUSD directory to open it easily).
You will see a folder named titles. You will find two new folders in this directory:

In each folder, there is another folder for the version you just downloaded. Open this version folder and find a WAD file:

Copy both WAD files to the root of the SD card (or your USB device if you don't have an SD card)."
Once you have done that download and install USB Loader GX and go to settings, features, also create a Nand folder there should be an option somewhere to create a directory and Dump your Nand there then go to install wads option and download the games you want. Go back to the USB Loader GX menu and now you can play them.
As for getting the best picture from your Wii, there is the GCVideo HDMI mod, GC Dual HDMI Mod or the OSSC with high-quality component cables all those will do a great job at upscaling your games. Though Virtual Console games won’t look any better if someone knows how to make VC games look better on the Wii let me know. Also if you want to filter out the duplicates that are showing up in USB Loader GX. That is your original Nand go to the SD Card icon near the stars and deselect Nand so that it only shows your EmuNand stuff.
@iVirtual If you want to make a tutorial like this, you shouldn't just assume that everyone is using USB Loader GX, and also take into account that people will use other kinds of USB loaders, so you could have added specific parts for WiiFlow and Cfg USB Loader as well, seeing as these have different menus and/or options.
As for getting the best picture quality on the Wii: I just use a high quality component cable without all these more expensive options that you mentioned, and it looks really good already, so there's no need for any HDMI mod at all.
And making VC games look better isn't really possible, seeing as Nintendo is doing the graphics displaying inside the container that is the emulator. The difference between display options will only give you marginal improvements. Instead of VC titles, I'd just go for dedicated emulators instead, which have their own display and other configuration options, which are FAR more elaborate than anything that official VC can offer you.
On a side note: I expect this thread to be closed soon, seeing as you are allowed to talk about modding older generations of consoles/handhelds, but download links to illegal content are obviously not allowed, so you better remove those, and simply explain in words what people need to search for. I speak from experience, since I've done tutorials in the past myself.

@Anti-Matter@ThanosReXXX Thanks for the info i just did this yesterday and wanted to share what i did to preserve my Wii Ware games i know there are other USB Loaders but USB Loader GX is the most popular one. I don't mind checking the other ones out just not familiar with them. My Wii has GCVideo HDMI and i can adjust the aspect ratio, resolution, filters, image to however i like and if you're like me and have 20 consoles then the OSSC with a BandRidge 5 and an Extron Crosspoint is definitely worth it. I used to use Component cables but there was video noise and games with more realistic graphics looked somewhat muddy and smeared.
@iVirtual You're welcome. As for the upscaler: I've actually used an HDMI upscaler before, but it stretched the image vertically, so I lost part of the picture in several games. My current component cables are gold plated, and up til now, I haven't experienced any noise or smearing in the picture whatsoever. And I'm sitting a little less than 10 feet/3 metres away from a 42" Full HD Plasma screen.
The extra options in the more expensive upscalers don't really interest me much, especially not for Wii games, seeing as these don't really need to be displayed with any filter and/or scan lines. I like my graphics sharp and clean, so 480p with my current component cable set is perfectly fine for me, also for my GameCube games via my USB loader.
If you want to know what emulators I use for all the retro games from older systems, I'd be more than willing to give you a list of them.

@ThanosReXXX I have plenty of emulators but nowadays i mostly use Raspberry Pi, PSP and Launch Box for my emulation. Also are you talking about Wii2HDMI that's not true HDMI this is

And The difference is more vivid colors, sharpness, and plenty of others options to adjust the aspect ratio, filters etc. I play my Wii Games in 1080p.
