I hope Nintendo sometime in the future makes Gameboy titles available on the VC. I would love to see Metroid 2: Return of Samus. What would you like to see?

Pokemon Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Crystal, Silver.

Gameboy Imports would be lovely too such as Pokemon Green.

All Pokemon games, Kirby Dreamland (I think that's what it was called), and some Mario game that I can't remember the name of.

I'll throw out LoZ: Link's Awakening, Mario's Picross, both Super Mario Lands, Faceball 2000, Metal Gear Solid GBC Super Mario Bros. Deluxe, Mole Mania and Shantae GBC, 'cuz those would all be amazing to have on a Gameboy VC, especially if it was a VC on the DSi.

Exactly.

I feel like they should make a DSiVC. It would give more people reason to purchase a DSi, raising sales, and it'd be damn awesome. Plus I REALLY want Link's Awakening DX ....

The best strategy in the game: go up stairs and pause balls.

Ditto. Handheld games on a handheld system, console games on a console. I think that if they do make GB virtual console games, they'd be on the DSi.

Eh, I'd rather see a remake of Metroid II. That game seriously needed a map.

But then again, if someone proposed that, then I'd rather have a new sidescrolling Metroid.

Check out my classy comics.

Well, if they made a DSiVC they could always put NES and possibly SNES games on there. That may make people really want to buy a DSi if they're on the fence about it.

Yes, it would be.

Super Mario Land series
Mole Mania
Wave Race
Wario Land series
Shantae
Faceball 2000
Kirby's Dreamland series
Pokemon Pinball
Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters
Metroid II: The Return of Samus
Donkey Kong
Gargoyle's Quest
Zelda: Link's Awakening (DX)

And I'm sure there's more where that came from.

The DSi doesn't have the full resolution that NES or SNES games require.

There should be Super Game Boy support at least.

Note that GBC games aren't optimised for full color when used on the SGB and GBC only games can't be played on it at all.

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

Game Boy and Game Boy Color games on the VC would be awesome!

The DSi doesn't have the full resolution that NES or SNES games require.

Plus, they'd have to debug all the games they release twice, once for the DSi, once for the Wii.

I was just pointing this out as a possibility. I think it would be kind of cool to be able to play Super Mario Bros. 3 on the DSi.

I'd definitely be into GBA games on VC. Pinball of the Dead would be ace (actually Sega should just port that bad boy to WiiWare)!

Seeing how well the Game Boy Player on the Gamecube played with the Gamecube controller; I think there will be a greater chance for it to be on the Wii VC.

I would download every Game Boy & GBA game to my Wii if they get them released in the Wii Shop.
I sold my Gamecube and have no Game Boy Player. I have a DS that plays GBA games, and a GBA SP that plays GBA and GB games,
but I would pay for getting them all on a tv screen with stereo sound, especially a translated MOTHER3 (GBA, 1200pts, Nintendo/HAL/APE/Brownie Brown/Shigesato Itoi) at a future Hanabi festival in the EU Wii Shop.

It'd be killer awesome to be able to play GB/GBC games on the Wii. :3

@Shadx- I got tired of waiting for that game to come out on a DSiVC, so I just bought it off eBay. Only costed about $16 including S&H.

I've said it before, but I'd love to see Gameboy games on the Virtual Console, mainly because the batteries on most of the existing cartridges (incl. my beloved Pokémon Silver and a copy of Donkey Kong I bought (and the battery promptly died on me)) are nearly running out. I mean what's the point of going on eBay to find a copy of Link's Awakening only for it's battery save to give up on you when you resume play the next day?

And I'm not paying Nintendo £25 (official quote) for them to replace the batteries for me.
