Topic: Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo

I thought about getting it because I liked the show when I was younger. But the reviews make it sound horrible. Not sure if it is or not though as a lot of review sites are harder on Wii games.

Some of the games I enjoyed haven't really done well with review scores, but I ended up liking them a lot.

Yeah I usually look past the scores. I loved Spyborgs and it for the most part got lower scores. I paid full price for it and less than a month after release it was down to $19.99 at my local Gamestop. My family always gives me money for Christmas so I might just pick this one up along with New Super Mario Bros. Wii.

Yeah the reason I am going to pick it up next year is because I have all my money set for NSMBW, Ratchet and Clank, Muramasa, so come Jan. I can get Tatsunoko vs. Capcom and this game.

I should check out Spyborgs, do you like it?

I thought it was good. Has some impressive graphics for a Wii game. You can upgrade your Health and Moves with red orbs you collect in levels. It got hit hard in reviews for its difficulty but yet the reviewers did not mention it had a novice difficulty level which is about what normal would be in most games. Its fairly short 5-8 hours on novice. You can go back through mission select at any point in the game after you complete a level if you want to upgrade your character before moving deeper into the game. There is also achievements. On your special moves and double team attacks you have the option of motion controls or using buttons in a quick time event setup under options which you can select at any point of the game. Same as difficulty you can change it at any point when playing. It was good for me because I am a fan of beat em ups.

Just picked up this game for £17.99 on play.com and its turning out to be one of my favourite Wii titles, graphics are good, gameplay is fun with simple combat made fun with and interesting "lock-on" mechanic that keeps things fresh. All in all I'm having a blast and highly recommend this title! So many good games on the Wii, so little time!

Cool, I shall look into getting that next year, as I just bough Ghostbusters, and that is a good game.
