Topic: Disk drive weird issue (Please help)

Hello, i have this weird problem with my disk drive. It doesnt spin discs, it takes them in fine but when it tries to read, i can see the laser moving trying to read it and then nothing else happens, it doesnt spin up, just makes three little clicks and doesnt spin it and just keeps it in there.

Ive tried so many things to get this working, including:

• swapping out lasers
• swapping out spindle motor
• swapping out laser moving motor
• checking fuses
• reseating all connections
• checking for shorts
• different disks
• cleaning the spindle motor

The capacitors look fine. Ive also tried the disk drive in another wii which works fine and it still doesnt work. Its so strange, because ive only found one reddit post with the same problem but of course, no one has a clue. If anyone has this same problem and fixed it please give me advice, its starting to really annoy me...

Theres a couple of things you can do.

1) Contact Nintendo in your region to set up a repair.
2) Look for a local shop that does repairs. I find some retro game stores can do that or even like a PC repair store.
3) You can try and do it yourself and look for tutorials on YouTube and such.
