Topic: difference between wii games bought from wii channel and CD

Hi guys
Im pretty new to wee and Im a little bit confused how to buy a games for my console.
I have the latest console and no games at all. Please explain what is the difference between wii games bought from wii channel and bought from amazon in CD format..?

They contain exactly the same content (unless you're purchasing a bundle). The only difference is that the physical copy has a disc and case to store it in. You won't be gaining or losing anything by buying the digital copy of a game compared to physical.

The Wii is different than the Wii U. WiiWare games are downloadable on the Wii and cannot be found on Disc. Disc Wii games are different games that cannot be downloaded on the Wii.

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...
