Topic: Chrono Trigger help...

Never remember having this much trouble before, but am I missing something here? The enemies at "Death Peak" are like causing a lot of damage. They're not that much of a problem, but the Lavos Spawns are just unfair...Am I supposed to have some armor upgrades or something, its causing around 300 HP of damage, especially with those needle attacks. It's frustrating, help me before I break something. T_T

Nope thats about right. The difficultly level of the game really spikes there. Usually it just depends on the team you take. Also there is a trick to the Lavos spawns if I remember correctly you are suppose to attack them at a certain point and than they wont do that needle attack.

EDIT: Yep when you attack the Lavos Spawn dont attack the shell instead attack the head and than you wont get that needle attack. And at all costs avoid AoE attacks like cyclone or dark matter that will hit the shell and the head. Just attack the head.

Kinda figured...but also noticed he still uses that needle attack. (could be a weaker form, I dunno...) Anyways yeah, thanks for the tip...

It won't attack you with anything too deadly if you just avoid his shell.

I always went with Chrono/Magus + Frog + Marle.
Marle and Frog have the ridiculously good double tech "Double Heal", that heals your entire party.

Healing is the answer there!

Yeah, healing is so important. You always need a good healer or two. This game is awesome btw. Can't wait to play new game+.

Loked up boss info a while back, and I guess I'm just too under leveled at the moment. Once you destroy the monitors, that attack she uses increases power every time. So, maybe next time I'll take her out, lol.
