So I recently beat the Dragon Roost Island and then I went back to the previous island to get the Swift Sail and do other things, now I'm just exploring, but everytime I leave the 3 block area on the map the boat stops and says I can't go that way yet and turns around and heads back to the Dragon island. It won't even let me go south where it was said that the next island is. Is there still something I need to do at Dragon Island or do I need to do something else?

the only thing i can think of is learning the ballad of the gales from the wind shrine, but if you've managed to sail toward windfall im guessing you already got that. you cant go back to windfall until you've beat the next dungeon but you should definitely be able to get there. if the marker is near the bottom right of the sea chart then you should be able to reach it.

put it on.

Yeah I got the Ballad of the Wind Shrine and I made the wind turn South and theres a glowy white square near the bottom of the map, but somethings preventing me from going down there.

I believe that I got the Pearl, I met a fish at the Dragon Roost island, but not the southern border of that map area, so I guess that's what I need to do next.

Well I figured it out, I had already been south as far as the volcano island, but turned around to return to do the night auction to get the sail and the forgot about continuing south and when I tried it again I think I was trying to do a shortcut forgetting that this game severly stops one from going into areas before the story dictates and so the dragon boat kept telling me to turn around. So I had to return to Dragon Roost and go directly south/down.

I love the game, but prefer it when giant boulders and trees, etc block your path to later areas rather then your boat continually nagging you. But dispite that its a wonderful game!

Beat this game the other night and what a good ride it was. After I finished, I actually paid attention to the credits (which I don't usually do when I complete games) and enjoyed the final song. It was weird, I never played this game but yet it still had a nostalgic feeling like I had played this game before.

Random question time. So, the only modern Zelda games I have played since Link's Awakening are Wind Waker HD and Skyward Sword and I noticed that they used the same "file select" music and "inside a building" music. Is this also the same music that plays in these segments in the other Zelda games or is it just a coincidence that these two games use the same?

To blessed to be stressed.
80's music makes me feel fabulous.

Not a coincidence. The file select has been used for every game since Link to the Past (right?) and the indoors music has been used quite a bit since Ocarina of Time.

Im on the second boss where you use the boomerang to hit the vines above the boss. Im using the right stick to aim the boomerang but it doesnt feel natural. Is there an easier way?

You should be able to turn on motion controls in the options menu. It works pretty well in my opinion, it's quicker than the analog stick.

I bought this game months ago and just started playing it now. I was a huge fan of Legend of Zelda for SNES and the gameboy games but if this is any indication of what 3D Zelda games are like, I'm not a fan. The controls are stiff and awkward, I dislike the battle system, and the first dungeon was just a pain. Being spotted by an enemy simply gets you thrown in a dungeon and you have to start all over.

Just not the game for me. I guess I just don't understand it. A Link Between Worlds is great and so was Link's Awakening but I never played Ocarina of Time or Majora's Mask so I guess I just never got into these types of 3D Zelda games.

I loved the

Sounds like you just prefer the 2D Zeldas.

I can tell you that all the 3D ones play alike.

Anyway, the "first dungeon" is actually really a short introduction, the rest of the game features no stealth missions, or insta-death.

Only casuals rage quit because of Zelda openings. They build up to the more interesting parts of the game. If you can't stand the first 'dungeon,' then just add patience. It'll do ye good.

Don't hate me because I'm bnahabulous.
