Topic: wii u sound

Not sure if anyone can help here. Unless you have had the same issue.
I want to connect my Wii u to my PC which has a build in TV card.
It connects OK the picture is fine but the sound is not. The gamepad does not have a suitable connection for my PC although some models are listed. I can't control the sound from the PC remote either. With some games I get the sound from the gamepad but only the games that can be played just on the gamepad.
Any ideas?

Are you using a HDMI? If so, that may be your problem. If not, just test all your cords with something else on both ends to see what works

Thanks guys for the replies. I contacted the PC company and they said that the sound has to be controlled by the Wii u; but the Wii u does not have a code for my PC model, although there are other models listed.

Funny thing is I do have sound (I should have made this clear in my first post) but it is at a constant unacceptable high volume, I can't lower it.
