So 2015 might be very good for wii u, There a good amount of third parties, but these games are mostly ports with enhanced features. We have games like watch dogs, mass effect 3, assassins creed 3 and four, splinter cell, dues ex human revolution., zombi u., batman origins,.need for speed. Then we have great first parties like x, mario kart 8, super mario 3d world, lego city undercover, wonderful 101 bayonetta 2. So you see wii u is doing well. The thing is i want wii u to expand more in third parties, we are not getting enough aaa titles. My point is will wii u increase its third party after mario kart 8, or after bayonetta 2, x and smash.
why would 1st part games not sell on nintendo wii u.
Because the Wii U only has a small install base. Nintendo need to hope none Wii U owners buy a Wii U for Mario Kart ect. I honestly can't see many more 3rd party titles coming to the Wii U. Or at least AAA third party titles. Unless Nintendo sell a good few million between now and the end of the year. Which I hope it does. But I can't see it.
Who buys a Nintendo product for third parties honestly? By now most know that if they want third parties you are going to have to go with PS, Xbox or PC.

I'm assuming it will be replacable with the latter 2013 and and 2014 game library, minus anything as hyped as Smash Bros. 4.
My main hopes are
-Part 1 of a Zelda trilogy w/ a few Xenoblade-like open world elements
-a new Metroid Prime quality game w/ multiplayer that's a mix of Hunters and Team Fortress 2 (hints of Halo would be cool too)
-Miyamoto's new IP to be something that can appeal to both casual and hardcore gamers
-Beyond Good and Evil 2 to be on the console
-all of those games to sell incredibly well if they are as good as expected

Millions of people apparently, if u count together the sales of the many third party games that came for the Wii and the Wii U...not everybody wants to buy more then one console, and nintendo consoles are my first and only option because im a zelda freak! hehe
If the Wii U becomes cheaper and the gamepad/motion control prove their value, many people might end up prefering the Wii U version of some games...i know i prefer Cod with the wiimote then with classic controlers or mouse
Now, about 2015...its going to be harder to sustain a constant stream of great content for this super hd consoles like ps4, because triple aaa tiples are getting more and more expenssive and taking more time to be made...so after the launch excitemebt wears off, people less comited to brands might find the Wii U a reasonable choice and the third party might come...we are gonna have to wait and see

See that there in lies the problem, Nintendo has failed miserably at proving the value of the gamepad. Then need to show off how revolutionary the gamepad is. I mean MS did a wonderful job of showing all the capabilities of the Kincet for the Xbox One but I don't see anything showing off the gamepad. Maybe show how third party games are better using the Gamepad instead of a standard controller etc.

It's not hard to see how the GamePad is a great controller. I think it has more to do with 3rd parties putting more effort into the second scree, and whether they have time or want to do that. If I was a 3rd party, I'd be making best use of it, and allow those same features to be available on the Xbox One and PS4 versions, as well(if you have PS Vita or Smartglass).
As for the general idea that Nintendo never gets 3rd party... I can't really take that seriously, because it's literally a false claim. Just because Wii's 3rd party games didn't matter to you, doesn't mean they don't exist and other people enjoy them. Also, 3DS, DS, and GCN all had tremendous 3rd party support.
Then we have ports of 5 day old and a month day old game on Wii U. Sonic Racing, CoD, and Tekken were still new when Wii U came out. Hell, the LEGO games, CoD, Skylanders, and Injustice all were new games that came out on Wii U the same day as other platforms. So ya, there is 3rd party support, but apparently it doesn't matter that much to you or many others.
Lastly, Watch_Dogs, Rayman Legends, Splintercell, and ZombiU are all there. Those are 3rd party games

The Crew 2-3 devs ported it over to the PS4 in 6 months, the PS3 would have taken a whole team to do that in that time. So if you can get your game up and running in a month towards the PS3 12 months timeline and port game engines/games in half the time, explain to me why development costs are going to shoot throw the roof? believe me these dev's and the likes of Sony know about development costs far better than any of us, its there jobs day in day out.
The only dev's developm!ent costs will hit this time around is Nintendo, but lucky thay have the whole gaming industry that's already go through it. Beccause believe it or not the gaming industry meets up to talk about game development
I also agree Nintendo will weather the development costs better than others have because of the types of games thay make 2D platformers, but thay also have the likes of Zelda.

Thats what we hear from most developers, that games will take longer to be made....
I think a port doesnt count as an example. When they start making games exclusevely to ps4 and xbox1, thats when we are going to see how much time it takes...with the added processing power, one can assume games will have more details and more complex phisycs, hence taking more time to be made, i suppose...

Do your research, my friend. Nintendo's first-party games on the Wii U have been selling extremely well. Many close to a million shortly after launch (Pikmin 3, Wind Waker), and a few more well over a million at this point (NSMBU, 3D World, Wii U Party). Nintendo's software sales on a whole keep going up and up, and the Wii U has an excellent attach rate when it comes to their software. Just take a few seconds to check out the facts.
I really couldn't care less about getting 3rd party multiplatform games on the Wii U. The current Virtual Console for the Wii U is such a huge disappointment and much bigger (and easier!) priority.
I just want Nintendo to revamp the Wii U virtual console (at the very least all of the NES, SNES, N64 content that's on the current Wii VC in addition to GBA and DS), ensure an account based system with digital content, and continue to produce more 1st party games for the Wii U like how they revamped the 3DS from 2012-2013.
The virtual console problem is my biggest gripe with the system and Nintendo's biggest problem that they themselves can reasonably fix at the moment.
The lack of third party support has always been an issue with Nintendo consoles. Like the Wii they are going to have to sell more consoles in order to get that support and the best way to do that (and how they've always done in the past) is by providing 1st party that shows off what the system is capable of and garner interest for more console sales.

Obviously you miss read my post. I never said that Nintendo didn't get third party games, I was alluding that 3rd party games are better on the other systems, and no its not a dis at Nintendo. Just for some reason it seems that Nintendo gets watered down versions of 3rd party games. Either there is no multiplayer, or not all the DLC is available or something along those lines. Yes Injustice Came out on Wii U but did the Ultimate version? Yes Rayman Legends came out on the Wii U but it was suppose to be an exclusive but at the last minute it went multiconsole. I am pretty sure that Watch Dogs will be watered down as well. As I said it's not a dis its just the truth.
