Topic: What other games are like Metroid Blast? Good Clean Multiplayer Fun

Hello:
First time poster--don't have a large knowledge of what games are available. Our family enjoys playing Metroid Blast on NintendoLand:
-a fun shooter game
-at least three people can play locally at a time.
-Even though it is a shooter game it doesn't seem all that violent (e.g., blood, gore, etc).

What other games are out there that might be similar to this? Would like to have capability to have at least three people playing at same time. Maybe Super Smash Bros? Splatoon? What else? Open to Wii or Wii U games.

Thanks for your suggestions!

Try getting the Metroid Prime trilogy on the eshop, the second game has a very fun multiplayer mode.

Metroid Prime Trilogy is more worth your time than Federation Force or Blast Ball anyway.

Federation Force is still worth it, especially since it comes with Blast Ball

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

@Bolt_Strike I think you may be mixing Metroid Blast up with Federation Force's Blast Ball. (I did at least when I read the title)

For a local multiplayer shooter that is family friendly, there aren't really many I can think of. As was mentioned before, there is a multiplayer in the second game in Metroid Prime Trilogy which can be fun, but I personally found it slightly lacking. Splatoon is pretty fun, but it is only online or there is a 2 player 1 on 1 mode.
For non-shooters, Smash bros. is always fun with a group and another game I enjoy with family is Wii Party U.
Some other Wii U titles with local multiplayer are Super Mario 3D World, Mario Partt 10 and New Super Mario Bros. U.

Oh right.

Prime Trilogy is still better. Metroid Blast is a mini game, it won't last you long.
