Topic: Troubleshooting: Wii Remote not working/blinking

Hey everyone,

I got myself a Wii Remote Controller, but I have some problems syncing it up with my Wii U. I tried following steps:
1. Put new batteries in the Wii Remote
2. Click on the red Sync-Button (Wii U. After clicking it a new page opens on the Wii U which explains the SYNCing)
3. Click on the red Sync-Button (Wii Remote Controller)
Nothing happens. The LEDs are not even blinking.
I also disconnected the power cable of my Nintendo and put it back in, since I read that it might be a problem. I tried the steps again but it still didnt work.
It is my first time SYNCing up a Wii Remote and I dont know, if it is broken or am I doing something wrong?

@simba20 seems like the wiimote is faulty. Even when you put batteries in the Wiimote when pressing any button it should flash

@simba20 I Think you might need to hold both sync button's for about 5 seconds each, to get it to sync.
