As much as I love all the first party exclusive's and all that's coming do you think the big N will have any third party support in 2015? What I mean, is more than we've had in the past year. Compared to the DS family It feels like the Wii U Is being shafted bigtime. So what are your thought's on this?

There are a lot of indies arriving on the Wii U, but don't count on any ported $60 AAA titles. If you need such games, it's better to get a PC or some other console.

Naw I don't really need AAA titles. It would just be nice to walk into my local game shop and see a nice row of Wii U games Instead of the 3-4 titles on a tiny shelf. In a way it's quite sad really.

I am sure there is more but the only 1 I can only think of coming is Project Cars, even that I have my doubts about. There will probably be more LEGO and Skylanders games and the inevitable Dance games but I'd say that's about it.Yoshi,Splatoon,Starfox and Zelda with the possibility of some Metroid thrown in should keep you busy though
It depends on how much initiative Nintendo is willing to take. Nintendo has shown that they are willing to fix their issues this past year, so I could see a few 3rd party games. I'd even say there is potential for a western 3rd party AAA title if Nintendo takes the initiative.
If Nintendo is willing to advertise 3rd party games with the platform, reach out to make safe exclusivity agreements (as in agreements that don't doom Nintendo to be consistently shelling out cash), and broaden the fanbase, then the Wii U can see 3rd party games.
That's not to say the situation is all Nintendo's fault, but the burden rests on Nintendo to remedy it.

Lego games to me are always fun. Skylanders and Just Dance don't interest me. A metroid game would be ace in my book.

I completely agree with you. I did see a video saying he would love third party support. It's just how Nintendo get round this. I know as consumers 3rd party rather pass us up as install base is "small" but to me it's more an excuse. Lazy devs if you ask me.

Nope third party won't be coming back to the Wiiu next year or the year after that. And don't listen to the people who say the Wiiu don't need them, they do!But i would rather have no support than having third party dev's making half finished games for the Wiiu looking at you Ubisoft with your watch dogs port.
The Harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. When the going gets tough, the tough gets going.
