Topic: Super Smash Bros. for Wii U - OT

On the stage slots, the one that's separated appears to have been for Pirate Ship. In the Wii U version's data dump, the file for Pirate Ship uses the same suffix as other stages that appear in both games. From the look of it, Pirate Ship was intended for both, but was scrapped on 3DS due to it not having a swimming mechanic.

I wouldn't mind not being able to swim on the pirate ship, I just wonder if the 3DS could handle the stage well.

Well, at the least thats an extra slot each then. Before we thought it was two characters and one stage, now its three and two (possibly three).

I think Golden Sun is in that unfortunate position where it isn't new enough to be relevant but not old enough to be retro either.

So unless we get a new Golden Sun game I don't see anything Golden Sun related coming to Smash any time soon.

Well, no matter who these new characters are, one thing is for certain: No matter who we get, there's going to be people that are salty.

I think Isaac's removal from being an assist trophy in smash might've been to work him in as a character for Smash 4 before being dropped to focus on other things for the game.

I suddenly have this strong feeling that the Inklings are going to be the ones to 'win' the Smash Ballot. I mean, it's already popular in both Japan and the West, and they already have potential movesets.
@NintendoFan64 I thought of a certain character yesterday and wondered how salty players would be if he was the next DLC character, but I can't even remember who it was... XD

And as for Golden Sun, uh unofficial official what? That sounds made up...

A few things worth noting

• He got the Pirate Ship right, but that alone isn't enough to suggest that it's legit or not
• "Sakurai didn't want to use Snake due to the BS between Konami and Kojima", makes it sound like Sakurai wouldn't even want to bother with Konami, which raises a huge red flag
• It only predicted Pirate Ship when more stages were revealed at that time like Mario Maker
• The conclusion to Shovel Knight came literally outta nowhere.

Smash 4 has been....interesting when its come to leaks. I don't have a hard time believing this despite some red flags, but like all "leaks" and rumors, I'm gonna take this with a grain of salt

@DarthNocturnal: I'm a little confused too, but this one is gaining traction, and those three (four) characters be an interesting bunch.
