To be fair, EA, Ubisoft, and Activision gave the Wii some of its best support, and most of their games didn't sell well, so I can see why a console with a fraction of the userbase and momentum might not be a desirable platform...
EA wasn't even trying though lol.
"Most strictly Nintendo owners won't know anything about the series, but here's Mass Effect 3.... game's been out since March. Oh yeah and we're charging $60 for the Wii U version while it's half the price on the other systems. We're also releasing a complete trilogy set around the same time as that comes out, but the trilogy set is only for 360/PS3/PC and it'll be $60 for all three games. So you can buy Mass Effect 3 on Wii U for $60, or you can buy all three games in one package on 360/PS3/PC for $60."
Made no sense whatsoever.

Do you really think any game they made would've sold well, though? Again, they put a lot of stuff on the Wii. A lot of it was pretty good, too. Boom Blox was the only one that sold well for them as far as I know that wasn't one of their usual cash-ins.
@CanisWolfred
You're partially right about that. I would guess they're at least happy with FIFA and Madden sales on Wii, though, otherwise they wouldn't keep releasing those games for Wii. PS2 isn't getting this year's FIFA and Wii is basically in the same generation. Maybe Wii finally beat PS2 in software sales.
Maybe EA had no reason to release Madden on Wii U, because of Wii. They cheaped the hell out, and depending on how you look at that, that might be better in the long run. Here we are expectin Madden 13 to have been a worthwhile game that had the real physics and better visuals, but EA responds by releasing it on Wii. I can still play Madden 15 on my Wii U, because it's on the damn Wii
Call of Duty is pretty popular and profitable on the Nintendo systems, ever since the Wii days - they bring every version since MW and they will keep bringing it. Assassin Creed is a late addition that came in without any real incentives to jump in. Mass Effect although spectacular on the Wii U IMO really couldn't sell well like explained above.
I have nothing bad to say about ZombiU. I think it's perfect and it's one of the best selling games on the Wii U, with 700,000 sales for a launch game. Top 10 selling games on the Wii U. Only third party game to do that.
At least for Fifa if you want to play the proper version then you have to do it on a PS4/Xbone all the rest are a waste of time.
It is the same as complaining you cannot play 3D World on the PS4.
No it's not. FIFA is a 3rd party game, so they are never obligated to support or not support a console. It would be like complaining ZombiU or any other excluive 3rd party games, that aren't paid by Nintendo, that are on the Wii U, but not the other consoles.
The only difference is that no one really cared about ZombiU. Those cheapo party games and alot of indie games are exclusive, too, but that one pretty much explains itself.
I don't even care about the sports games. I was going to buy Madden 13 on Wii U, but EA couldn't even get the physics from Xbox 360 to work, which has become a huge part or sports games. The only cool thing about the Wii U version, was that you could draw plays and online will always be free. I don't know what FIFA had.

Well ya, it was a launch day bundle when the only other game worth looking at was NSMBU.
In another dimension, Wonderful 101 was a launch day bundle and sold a million copies.
So Anakin kneels before Monster Mash and pledges his loyalty to the graveyard smash.

Don't feel bad for them maybe their stuff would sell if it they weren't just releasing poorly done ports or delayed multi-plat. Maybe if they released unique and compelling software they could compete, when ZombiU is the best they can do for an exclusive that's just sad.

What would you suggest they make, then? What could they possibly make that would convince more than 2 Million people (20% of the entire fanbase of the console) to buy the game when even Nintendo apparently struggles to do that? Because for better or for worse, that's apparently the minimum of how much HD retail games need to sell to be profitable.
Well that isn't going to happen and Nintendo should expect more support if they make obtuse controls methods. Also ZombiU is probably a better use of the game pad than everything Nintendo themselves has done with the expection of Nintendo land and game and wario.
WAT!

That's like saying I wish music artist are rewarded for their talents and creativeness. NO GONNA HAPPEN BROTHA.
"You like Gotye? **** you, here's more Demi Lovato."
I don't who either of those are, but a quick look up took me to a decent song with some spiteful themes ("Somebody I used to know") and one of the most abrasive and petty songs I've heard ("Really Don't Care").
Actually, I've been noticing a lot of really petty and juvenille songs on the radio lately. I was gonna go on a long rant about this, but I'm not sure anyone here really cares for a music discussion...

Good call, we don't
Personally I love the songs from the 80's and early 90's. Songs like "Spread Your Wings", "Living Next Door to Alice" to "Sweet Child O' Mine" is just magnificent. Songs nowadays are okay, but they are not as good.
