I didn't feel like playing Splatoon this weekend. The only downside are those sweet sea snails I won't have. Meh.

@TheXReturns: Cheers,glad to be back My charger wasn't working.I didn't bother ordering a new one as I was supposed to be returning home for a few weeks.I thought I might as well wait as shipping time takes a couple of weeks.My plans changed though and I won't be going back for a few month now.So had to get charger sent over in the end.Lost me weeks of Splatoon,knowing all those updates were there and not being able to check them out was infuriating haha

Well I gave Tower Control another shot...and I don't know why. One game lagged so badly that the match was in slow motion. Why is TC so freaking glitchy for me?

Well, I was kinda surprised by the Splatfest results, I thought my team (Spongebob) won more often and also assumed that Patrick would be more popular. Still, those 18 sea snails were very helpful.
Making the Splatfest global American-European was a good decision from my experience, I never had to play against my own team, never had to wait long to find players and I also didn't experience any significant lag. However, two games disconnected already in the lobby, after 8 players were already found.

Nice to see you're back! Actually a week ago or so, I think after the Splatournament, I wondered where you've been because I hadn't seen any posts from you here for a while now.
Also, when I read your post, it took me a few seconds to realize you were not talking about a charger (weapon) in Splatoon, but your gamepad's charger. ^^

I know you mentioned that several times, but in what form do these TC glitches occur?

The Splatfest result seems to reflect my experience. When I started playing (in the Patrick Team), I only played against Spongebob teams, and the matchmaking was rapid. We won every match. When the Patrick Power" gradually increased, I got Patrick mirror matches. At the end of the Splatfest, there were almost always Patrick vs. Patrick matches.

My own conclusion was that there was lots of good Patrick teams, but there were also lots of not-so-good Spongebob teams but not so many good ones.

Are there any tournaments coming up?

Got a question - does finding players in Splatoon takes a longer while now than earlier? I'm asking because I don't know is this common right now (less gamers playing Splatoon, thus waiting time takes longer?) or is it something on my end with internet connection.

Currently it takes around 1-2 minutes to find 8 players, while earlier it took seconds.

I also have (most of the time now) problem to even play Splatoon online - keep getting the 118-0502/118-0516 errors. But I played beta of Lost Reavers for 3 hours straight today and didn't had any problems with playing online.

Could someone give me any idea/tip, what should I do?

@pXm: I personally haven't noticed a change in matchmaking. It usually takes seconds for Turf War, and maybe around 30 seconds for Ranked for me, except for a few rare circumstances. It's still as quick as ever.
