Who needs online anyways? If you guys had any friends you could play with them in real life on NintendoLand!
Not everyone has friends who enjoys games, and some people like myself live around people who either aren't fans of games or despise them. So that's why Nintendo Land is pretty much useless to me. Now you know why I prefer online multiplayer.
I won't lie to you. I am a Nintendo Fanboy, why would I visit a site called NintendoLife daily if I wasn't, but I am also educated in video games. I understand that in the section of features WiiU online is lacking and it may not have as many people playing certain games as other consoles. I prefer the WiiU for its simplicity. I do miss party chat and wish it had more games but I still have more fun looking around the eShop then navigating Xbox Live (with all those ads) or PSN (trying to find anything is difficult).
I was a Sega fan that had to move on so I don't like Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft or Apple I enjoy making these other company fanboys write walls of text about not much at all.

This is going in circles.
The only objective measure of a service is its feature set. The Wii U is by far the weakest of the online services when you look at it objectively.
Subjectively, everything from layout, to the kind of content it offers, to you own personal relationship to both console and company is going to determine which one is the better. To a fanboy it doesn't matter op how objectively weak a product is, they're still going to love it.
See the difference? No one is suggesting you have to like the objectively better services, but people should at least realise that their preferences are emotionally - not rationally - determined.
You want an objective opinion? How about this! Nintendo's online is the only online service that works for me. PSN has crashed more times than my Wii, DS, 3DS and Wii U combined. I can't certainly ignore the facts. Nintendo's online is better

I agree with you. Just the features that Microsoft and Sony offer over Nintendo don't effect me. So personally I do like WiiU online services more. I also can see how others may like it more but if you are just looking at the numbers Microsoft would have the best online
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...
@Knux
I have PS3, sold Xbox 360. I know what services each one offers. I like Nintendo's approach better. Every console has something to offer, but Nintendo JUST released a NEW console, and it has what I want in a game console without adding a bunch of features for me to play a game. I have a PS3, and I barely play, or use it for DVD/Bluray(don't really watch movies). I literally only go on there to see what I get for free from PS+ every week, and play a game for a little while now and then. I'm not being biased at all. Sony has my money in more than one way. I bought an A/V reciever worth more than my PS3, and got some nice Sony speakers, too. Oh ya, I have a PS3, did I mention that? Haha.

Yeah, one time is so much. I'm seriously fed up with it.

I have my own company, and it's called Shane Co.(my name is Shane). I'm rich, b****! Haha.

Do I even need to mention my escapades in the PSN store? :3
