I always found it weird that Americans do this as order of size is day>month>year.
Because of how most Americans say dates in long form. "September fourth, twenty-fourteen" is much more common than "the fourth of September, twenty-fourteen."
I know why but to me it is still just a weird, I say it month then day all the time but writing it just looks weird and unorganised.
So... ''It airs one month later...at the same time? You dang Europeans and your silly dates!'', this doesn't make much sense, no matter how you read the date, the European or the American way. Because it's either 5 september (the correct date), or 9 may... which isn't one month later.
Psst... May 9th (5/9) would be one month after April 9th (4/9).

I think after the direct we will get either a bayonetta 2 demo or bayonetta 1 on the eshop. I don't think its a simple coincidence that the direct is airing the same day as the north american eshop update.

I think it is just a coincidence. They've added demos and games before on any other day
