Is anyone else a little disappointed that you only have 100 seconds for each level? The game still looks fun, but it seems to me more about speedrunning than exploring. I'll still be buying it tomorrow though.

How do i dowload it i have mario u downloaded?

Iirc it has been said that that is the whole point of the game and to make it a bit different from NSMBU.

It may only be available straight off the eShop where NSMB.U is found, similar to DLC for other games.
It might be an option in the actual game(in-game purchase), but the eShop will most definitely have it I think.

Does anyone know if this is midnight DLC?

Get the newest update for New SMB U (if it hasn't downloaded automatically load New SMB U and force it). That update allows the DLC adds the Pro Controller support. Once you have downloaded the update go to the eShop (there's a link to it inside of the updated New SMB U) and select the DLC to purchase. Download that and you're done. Load the game and you'll see this after waiting for a little bit....

Thinking this wont go live for the US till the eShop updates at it's normal time.

I'm starting to think that, too. I've already launched the game like 10 times in the past 45 minutes to find out.

They added pro controller support...they might as well add classic controller support and wii remote + nunchuck support
The more options, the better...right? Even Rayman Legends supports all of those control options.

I have six wii remotes, four nunchucks, two classic controllers, two classic controllers pros, and a pro controller so I'm fine...but sometimes my friends prefer to use a nunchuck or a classic controller if the other is using the pro controller, so it would be nice to have more options so I don't keep wasting money on controllers! I love that Rayman Legends supports 5 different control types.

The update is free. The DLC isn't.

I love this DLC so far. The level designs are frantic and interesting- the fast times also add to the challenge.

i like this game. i bought it just to play it but im gonna get the boxed version when it comes and beat it on that too. i dont like tho how there is a 100 second time limit and that the levels are so short.

NSLU is pretty good. It's frantic and challenging in a different way. So far, the world maps look the same but the levels appear to be new or revamped somehow. The mid flags are gone and instead the levels seem shorter and have a 100 timer. It's been particularly challenging for the three people in my family to play together. Head bouncing galore!
