Just a feeling that Capcom is ditching Nintendo with the franchise after Tri. I hope the 3DS gets something, even if its a port of 3rd...or even the U getting the HD version...but they would've probably said something about it already if it were to happen...Who knows, maybe they'll surprise us at the TGS.

Capcom never dropped support for Nintendo. That was proven false weeks ago. I also checked it out on unity and an employee and he quoted "ya who ever wrote that has no idea what there talking about" so there. And for MH on 3DS, I still think it will come. Why? Because remember that rumor about MH on 3DS? True it did get denied of getting announced on that day, but didn't get denied of one being in development, or denied that there wasn't one. I bet Capcom capitive wasn't a big enough event for a MH game. There probably waiting to announce it on a MH event like MH Festa! If that tsunami never happened then maybe it would have been announced like some people said. Sorry I went really into this. :]
A Monster Hunter title for WiiU and 3DS would be great. Both should link up somehow.
Maybe Streetpass data you get on the 3DS version can then be 'given' to the WiiU version, and this could be special items that are not available on WiiU originally but is on 3DS. Lot's of possibilities and it'd be great to see MH goes this route in connectivity.
well like I said I just doubt it...doesn't mean I'm not hoping for one, besides I emailed them a while back asking about the Wii (it was before finding out about U) and/or the 3DS and they told me that they have no plans to bring it to the 3DS. Didn't even mention about the console...so...I dunno. Besides, it doesn't make any sense that Nintendo gets Tri, while the Portable version goes to Sony...>_> They should just all go multiplatform...and have exclusives and stuff...like, Pokemon or something. xD

i think it would be a great idea seeing how much the wii u remote has to offer as far as versatility. you could use the controller screen as an item menu along with health status etc.. and you also have the front facing camera so you could do video chat to set up some strategy with people online on how exactly you will kill the monster. but what i would really like to see is use of wii motion plus with weapons. yeah it might be copying sky ward sword but you can only improve on an already great idea.
This is ground control to major Tom, you've really made the grade. And the papers want to know whose shirts you wear
Now it's time to leave the capsule if you dare
The wiiU has the absolute perfect setup for a monster hunter. And with great sales for the wii, more core gaming for the wiiU, the best system with incredible support in terms of loyal fanbase, not bringing a real good monster hunter to wiiU would be silly.
I am also really, really hoping it will happen by the way. I will buy it on day 1. My wishes? More, way more monsters (not variations of existing, but actual new ones), consider a non-loading phase between areas (xenoblade/elderscrolls5 style conceptually) and even better online support. EVEN BETTER!
I wish they would just do it already...don't even care if its a port of 3rd...But yeah, Tri is getting stale. Really don't want to buy a PSP just for a game or two either.

Why do you think so? look at how many Monster Hunter games are on PSP, and they are selling great(mostly in Japan but...)for me i prefer Monster Hunter on Wii U because not like 3DS it will have normal gamertags like PSN ID or XBL Gamertag, not those lame friend codes and the controller have two circle pads(i prefer normal analog sticks but oh well..) not one, yes i know there's a touch screen but it will not be so convenient to choose items, slashing monster and adjust the camera on it almost in the same time.
I think a next-gen update for MH, whatever platform, could be pretty sweet. I think it should be totally open-world sandbox stylee though, rather than a collection of 'rooms'. Imagine being chased all around a level by something, unable to simply nip onto the next screen to heal up. Would add a whole new level of strategy to the game.

-I don't 100% believe it, but if its on capcom's official youtube channel then it must be true! Still , I need to confirm this. He didn't post one yet. Heres the link to the website on were I found it. http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/997614-/59583028
A 3ds port may be possible but I do think there's going to be lots of hardware constraints...
A wiiU version makes the most sense and probably has the most potential. But a 3ds port version, if they can pull it off, makes sense if it is already a developed game. Time will tell.
