So how's Mario Kart TV going? How long does it take to upload a full race anyways? My internet seems to take forever to upload videos...(then again I've mostly uploaded Monster Hunter, lol)
Don't think you can upload a full race. Ust up to a minute I believe.
Which really sucks though... I could see why only a minute though. It takes a long time to upload.
....I thought one of the options was a full race during the direct, though. :c

Lol, I suck in general at Kart games. At least online I usually get owned. Lucky if I even sniff first ever. We shall see if I'm any good at this one though!
With online games on MK7 I either would be with a group of people who had no idea what they were doing, or (most of the time) I'd get a couple people (always playing as their Mii) that I could swear were cheating somehow. Maybe some of them just have a lot of time on their hands. We'll see how I do in 8!

I'm in love with Dolphin Shoals and Mount Wario. Not sure why the new Rainbow Road had some negative reactions from everyone, I think it looks gorgeous. While it isn't as complex as some of the previous ones, I think they captured a perfect atmosphere.
Picked this up at Target earlier this morning, and I have to say, it does not disappoint in the slightest. I've had an absolute blast racing so far and not only does the game look gorgeous, but it plays very smoothly as well. The tracks are fantastic so far, they did a really great job updating the Retro tracks. Cheep Cheep Beach looks utterly stunning. I'd love to see a Super Mario Sunshine remake after seeing the water effects on that track.

Yeah. I was playing MK7 online yesterday to get ready for MK8 when I saw people just driving around in circles and suddenly appearing like a few feet in front of me. It was weird. It was like driving around in circles just transported them to another location.
Anybody who has bought a physical copy running into other people who are buying the game or a MK8 bundle as well?
At Gamestop this morning I seen one leaving with it, one purchasing it, one behind me buying a bundle and 2 we're pulling up as I was leaving. Almost certain they were also there for it.

@Spoony_Tech: Yeah, I will hold off on registering mine until after the new year starts. I'm 15 coins away from Platinum (hopefully they will have a great Platinum award this year!). Glad to hear people are out buying this today (NeoGaf seems to support this as well) . Hopefully the Wii U gets a really nice boost this week.
Online is great this time, even better than 7! The way you choose courses now really gives it more variety and seems more fair. @Ryno I ran into my friend buying the game as I got there, apparantely we were the 20th or so people to buy MK8 today there. And its a used game store.
So its looking very promising.
