Another Wii U game destined to be a hidden gem aka Wonderful 101 and Pikmin 3 status.

I think Pikmin 3 might've been saved by that Mario Kart 8 deal a while ago. I'd imagine a ton of people got it after that.

I think this game has a chance of being a mainstream success just because its Kirby. The gameplay is really the only thing holding the game back.

I bet the Yoshi game does really well.

Yup. That's exactly how I got Pikmin 3. Thanks to Mario Kart 8's sweet deal.

I own a Wii U and 3DS. I also own a PS4!

I got Pikmin 3, New Super Mario Bros. U, and Wind Waker HD from that promotion. I bought people's codes off them for the other 2 for avout $20 each.

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

Probably because of Nintendo

I don't know why I have a feeling it will land in EU in like 2-3 year later or end up like Dream Collection.

I would be more hyped for the game if I didn't have to constantly look at the gamepad. I'd rather stare at the beautiful TV visuals.

Check out my YouTube channel if you love gaming, and Nintendo (especially Metroid) I think you'll enjoy my videos. :)

Maybe this was brought up already, but it's likely this game will be $40.

EB Games and Amazon Canada list this game as $44.99 in Canadaian dollars, which would translate to $39.99 in the U.S.

Oh so it won't be a full priced title after all! Ok...

I mean, I'm certainly not gonna complain about a game costing less...

I love the finger prints on the artwork models, our is it just me seeing the fingerprints on them.

I'll try to learn to control the stylus while looking at the TV screen for this game. Seems to be well worth it.

I just watched an older interview about the demo today; the spokesperson for Nintendo (NoE) said that most of the staff were able to draw on the GamePad whilst looking at the TV screen after some practicing. It's certainly possible.

Is that actually real clay or CGI? I cannot tell the difference..

I believe that Kirby and the enemies are real clay while the environments are CGI. Don't quote me on that though.

Sorry for quoting you. I think Kirby is all-CGI, just like Yoshi's Wooly World. The pictures are clearly CGI (look at the round Kirby outline and you'll see that the "circle" outlines consists of a number of straight lines with rounded corners). Both these products seem extremely well done in terms of "realism".

The upcoming Amikrog game however, is real clay animations and I believe there has been a confusing mix between that title and Kirby by some of the gaming sites.

Those straight lines on the outlines are a result from photoshp' scissor/magic lasso tool because the Kirbys were cut from the background.

Keep in mind that those pictures are just promotional artwork. I know the game is CGI, and not real clay. But the promotional artwork looks very realistic, hence my original question.

Ah, it's ok. The only reason I said "don't quote me on that" was because I had heard that info from a WiiFolderJosh video.

Watching the new video, I just realized that the whole user interface is made out of clay. As usual, I like the great attention to detail in this game, since I assume I'll probably play it for the details and visuals rather than for the gaming challenge.
