Topic: Is Miiverse ruined due to the redesign and the update?

It's unfair to blame a Verified User for the update. Nintendo themselves are the ones who decide what changes are made. Her job is just to deliver the news. In America, that position is covered by Verified Users Tom and Amy. They aren't even moderators, as far as I know. They don't administrate people's posts, they just make posts about whatever Nintendo tells them to post about. We aught not be angry at the administrators either, though, because at the end of the day, they too are just doing their job. It's Nintendo itself you should be resentful toward, if anyone. Although I personally don't have much of a problem with the latest updates.

The update isn't even that bad. Miiverse is basically the same, except now you can store screenshots, post screenshots, store drawings, and make it look like your game playing is a diary(in the play journal. It's not that hard to understand. Maybe you are just bored of Miiverse or want more features?

The only other things I can thiink of, are maybe if you could somehow connect Miiverse from another device and interact with it while you are playing a game. Using Miiverse like a companion app, more YouTube support(use it for everything), play coins, etc. So ya, I wouldn't blame people for being uninterested in Miiverse, because there's a lot of features I can think of right off the bat that aren't there.

Also, yesterday I used some stamps from Yoshi's Woolly World to make a Shy Guy pic. (did not draw it, you just drag the stamp to make a picture)

The redesign is another one of these typical "what do you mean, options?" instances that Nintendo already has in way too many games as of late. Instead of leaving the functionality of certain MiiVerse features to the users' choice, they uphold a very strong limit to user-end control, for whatever reason.
Does the redesign ruin MiiVerse? Not really, but it definitely killed a good chunk of appeal. The new features are okay, at best, the inexplicable removal of previous features is annoying, and the lack of structure in the new design makes it a difficult place to navigate. Nintendo is basically burning potential in the oven just to have it comfortable for themselves entirely, and I do believe they're completely in over their heads with it by now, seeing how moderation is just an alternate tool for harassment to some users.
