Topic: IGN NVC E3 prediction thread

Every year IGN does this so I thought I'd make a thread about it. See who makes the best predictions. Here are this years question:

1. What five unannounced games will be shown at the Nintendo Direct (any system)?
2. What's 'Super Mario for Wii U' actually called?
3. What will Shigeru Miyamoto demonstrate, reveal or dress up as on video?
4. What will will be the "late conference Nintendo surprise"?
5. Who is one new Smash Bros. Character?
6. What goofy peripheral will be shown (for any system?)

1. Mario Paint U, Wii Sports U, Kid Icarus on Wii U, Metroid Prime 4, Rhythm Heaven 3DS
2. Super Mario Universe (going with the predictable!)
3. He'll appear as Luigi for the year of the Luigi
4. Wii Sports U
5. Non Specific Action Figure (it won't be but damn would that be awesome!)
6. Wii Balance Board 2

(This is not what I want to see just what I think we'll see except I want to see shulk in smash bros and retro studios new game) and footage of SMT x FE!

This guess doesn't count, needs to be unannounced games. I like some of the other guesses but.

And saying "none" is boring. Probably more correct than what anyone else says but it's still boring.

1. Mario Strikers U, Star-Fox United, Phantasy Star U, Donkey Kong U and Persona 5 for wii u (since I hope atlus is making more then just the crossover for wii u I mean they have to be right?)

4. CGI teaser for the spiritual successor to The Last Story.

1. Hmm.. An entirely new IP developed by Retro Studios, a new F-Zero which is codeveloped with Sega, Darkstalkers Reborn from Capcom, a new Wii Sports and... a new Starfox game in the style of Lylat Wars.

3) He will problably talk about the new Mario-game. Maybe with a Mario hat on his head.

So the correct answers were....

So the best guess was @Dev who got Donkey Kong Country and the Smash Bros trailer at the end. Which is kinda sad really......

Very sad. I don't know what to feel lol

On one hand I guess it can be considered a "solid" showing. None of these games will be bad, really, but it just didn't have anything.... exciting and new. I don't know. The 3D Mario was the biggest letdown for me, I think.
