Topic: If you had influence in nintendo....

You just gave nintendo 100 million to use on the condition that you could make 3 decision you wanted regardless of their Corporate policies. What would you do or have them do?

Keep in mind most of these are personal preferences that I'd like to see.

1. Create a new player licensed sports sim franchise, with a focus on exaggerated physics. Hire former Midway developers to work on it.
2. Set the next system launch in Winter 2016 with a focus on next gen motion controls.
3. Apply a patch to NSMBU, SM3DL, and SM3DW so that they support similar controls to Mario 64 (analog run, double throw hold). Then create a company rule that this type of scheme must at least option in every Mario game going forward.

Runner ups
1. Greenlight a new original game form Ganbarion with double the budget of Pandora's Tower
2. Create a company rule to add online to most multiplayer games, and add voice chat to multiplayer focused games.
3. Fire Junichi Masuda; ask Satoshi Tajiri to build the next Pokemon game from the ground up.

I'd tell them to;

• Collaborate with Suda 51 to develop and publish No More Heroes 3 for the WiiU.
• Allow Retro Studios to create an original game.
• Sign a contract allowing me to get all future Nintendo branded hardware and software for free during my lifetime.

1. Give me my 100 million back.
2. Give me 3 more decisions.
3. Massage me.

-Have a unified account system/cross-buy between Wii U and 3DS.
-Improve the Virtual Console. I wouldn't put out like 10 games per week like some people want but just have a steadier flow of old games.
-Relaunch the Nintendo Sports(licensed sports games) series of games. Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball, Kobe Bryant Basketball etc.

-Region Free
-Improved Virtual Console

1. Impose the restriction of no games like Pokémon Shuffle existing where microtransactions will probably be abused.
2. Significantly increase stock of non-Mario series Smash amiibo.
3. Support Nintendo Life with prizes for more online tournaments (including things like a US or EU equivalent of last year's MK8 tournaments before the EGX qualifying ones if feasible).

I know (2) will never happen but maybe they'll surprise and show that the wait time for replenishing hearts is rather short hence not abusing microtransactions in (1).The MK8 tournaments were easily one of the best parts of last year and I'd hope that the online tournament feature being added to Smash (probably Spring this year) makes tournaments for that over the summer feasible in terms of structure, a MK8 tournament sometime after the 2nd DLC pack's release would be cool too (all 48 tracks available).

• Make the transfer between consoles easier. (Take the google play store as a good example.)
• Every Ninty portable can now output its sound via Bluetooth and the 3DS VC allows for wireless multiplayer.
• More consoles on the Wii U's and 3DS's VCs _{and give me access to every console, game and add-on you ever made.}

3. Sell Capcom to people who aren't awful

1. Stop relying on Mario quite so much and actually use some some older I.P for a change.
2. Allow NoE and NoA to have their own software devisions, and allow them to have output from rule 1
3. Have some anime films based on F-Zero and Zelda.

1. Buy the Sonic series from Sega. (surely that's worth less than 100 mil nowadays)
2. Get back to making difficult and deeper mario games like mario 64.
3. Region free consoles.

I'd have a lot of free games

1. Localize Medabots 7

2. Localize Medabots 8

3. No region lock for future consoles.

1. Rebuy & restart Nintendo Power.
2. Anime/Manga based upon their series (but not any entry in particular). Like, maybe a Zelda one that chronicles in more detail whatever happened to Hyrule in the "Fall of the Hero" timeline, inbetween OoT & ALttP, from Zelda's perspective.
3. Revive Solar Striker for the heck of it.

1. Make their consoles region-free.
2. Release games worldwide, including Zero/Fatal Frame 5!!
3. Start releasing, at a fast pace, all of their past games on the eShop, including N64 and GameCube games.

Oh, I really should be in Iwata's place.

1. Localize Fatal Frame IV and V to a retail collection in the west.
2. Wii U Gamepad usage in Wii mode.
3. Get back most of my money.

1. Immediate regret that I had 100mill and I blew it all on buying Nintendo shares
2. Cross fingers that their stock price doesn't tank before I can slowly diversify
3. Live off the dividends

1. More unique third party exclusives.
2. Design a smaller Wii U system with a better and sleeker OS.
3. Sign an agreement ensuring I get every Nintendo product ever for a lifetime.

• Get with the times, have stable internet connection, voice chat, and stop pinching money from YouTubers and earn money YOURSELF.
• ADVERTISE & MARKET your consols.
