Topic: Hyrule Warriors (& Legends) - OT

So the 3DS version doesn't have the 255 level cap....is there anything else that got cut?(aside from Ganon and the giant cucco).

@Randomname19 I'm guessing the only reason it was brought back to lvl 99 was so they could raise it again when the new DLC maps are released.

@Detective_TeeJay: Yeah, i totally expect 255 by the release of the ALBW pack.

Yeah, the adventure maps in the 3DS version are much more streamlined in terms of difficulty. My Lvl 58 Young Link is thrashing the Wind Waker maps, and my Lvl 30 - 50 characters are doing just fine.

I really don't see the point of Lvl 255 right now

@TingLz: Of course there's no point now, but I see them raising it for the upcoming DLC maps

Btw, rumour has it that Hyrule Warriors for Wii U might be getting two more exclusive Adventure Mode maps, one being a Skyward Sword themed one and the other being...well some other one! xD

This rumour is really gaining momentum in the NEOGAF forums! Please be true!

Aw no, I'd rather get all the content on the 3DS.

In other news, I just missed A rank by ONE second on the mission with Volga's rank 2 weapon.... Ugh why did it have to be the Imprisoned. Aaaaaahhhh.

@Meowpheel: I think both versions should receive all of the dlc, but remember HWL will be getting 4 exclusive Adventure Mode maps, so even if true the 3DS version will still have more content.

Anyway, it's just a rumor. So let's not build hype yet.

It's not like I'd get it on the WiiU anyway.... But I'd say a new extra character (and only one) to round up the roster to 30 would be nice. That extra empty space on the character select screen will bother me otherwise.

Hmmm, either @ginn has given his/her European character-code to someone else, or he/she has forgotten about it. A pity, I would have liked it!

Anyway if the rumour's true, the other one will probably be Zelda II or Ocarina of Time as those are the remaining unused console Zelda games. Of course I'm not counting Zelda U as we still virtually know nothing about that game. [insert yet another discussion about grass]

I'd rather there not be any more Wii U content...because that would mean in order to experience it, I'd have to level up everybody from scratch on my Wii U, which I'm not doing.

@Detective_TeeJay: You can say the same thing about Legends existing though. If you used the Wii U version a lot, you have to replay the Legend mode which is almost identical outside of Linkle and Wind Waker, replay 5 almost identical Adventure maps to the Wii U version (disc x2, Master Quest, Twilight, Termina) just to be prepared for when the Master Great Sea map arrives in May, Koholint map in July, etc.

@Grumblevolcano: I'm speaking purely in a personal sense. I'm not saying the Wii U shouldn't get any more content, but rather that I personally wouldn't want to miss out on content because it's on Wii U. Just me being selfish. If this actually happened that selfish part of me would be disappointed but I wouldn't be pissed at Wii U version owners about it.

Wii U owners have been saying the same thing about the 3DS, except they genuinely don't want 3DS owners to experience the game for this reason.

It's more Wii U owners find it stupid at how they have handled this.

Nearly got 100% completion on the Twilight Map for the Wii U version!

I am playing the 3DS version, and quite frankly I don't see how they could update the Wii U game. They'd have to redo all the adventure mode maps.

Slowly unlocking stuff, not too sure how I feel about needing to do certain stuff to unlock characters and such in adventure mode, got at least half the character or more unlocked now, also I saved a handful of fairies yet fairy mode didn't unlock yet, dunno what that's about.
