Topic: Hyrule Warriors (& Legends) - OT

This Thursday (5th)

I so want to try these new (and not so new) DLCs out! But I haven't finished the original game at 100% yet. Work and life in general doesn't allow me to play as much as I'd wished:(

So far I love the Majora's Mas DLC. The new characters are great, especially Young Link. When he's in Fierce Deity form I feel like a total beast tearing through every enemy I see. Tingle isn't bad either, though I don't enjoy playing him as much. His combos and even his running animation fit him very well.

The new changes to the Smithy are great as well. Being able to take a peak at locked skills and removing skills entirely are nice functions. I'm disappointed that they cost large amounts of Rupees, but I suppose it IS the Bazaar after all. Can't make it free. The Termina Adventure Map has some interesting and appropriate concepts, but I haven't started it yet to really see how it plays out. Still need to finish the last two Maps first.

One thing I do dislike is the longer load times after installing the pack. Why is this a problem now? The other DLCs didn't do this.

@Pahvi That makes sense. Before it had to reload everything after you exit, but you don't need to exit the mission anymore. I can see how this might be the reason. Besides, I think the wait is usually worth it anyway.

I've finally unlocked all level 3 weapons! Agitha's was extremely difficult but then I found out her stag beetle attack (BBY) and that Manhandla stalks can be killed in 1 hit using the boomerang. That made it significantly easier!

Now it looks like I'm using Link and the Master Sword for a long while to unlock its true power.

"After installing patch 1.5 and the Majora's Mask DLC, the loading time to start the scenario is doubled. Were mostly on the normal Adventure Mode Map yesterday, and had it on every scenario"

So I am not the only one! After the update and Majora's dlc, every level takes longer to load. That's certainly not a improvement, and I don't get why they chose for this. Or it wasn't on purpose. Either way, hopefully they fix it!

So Ganon is the last DLC character?

This game is getting alotta support!

This'll probably be the final update, though.

I'm finally trying this game out, and I'm finding it a bit overwhelming. I think they should have slowed down the pace instead of throwing it all at the player at once

You can always play in easy

It won't take long and it'll all click!

Yeah, I'm doing a lot better now, and the difficulty had little to do with it. The game just wanted to throw everything at me all at once

The eshop says February for EU so I guess it must be next week. Probably that way because NA gets Kirby and the Rainbow Curse whereas EU have to wait until at least July.
